I couldn't believe I live in walking distance to this little GEM! We got the tamales, ham and cheese croissants, and a few desserts. All so good!! It's my new favorite place to go. The banana leaf tamales to the best, the maza was tasty and the desserts were all so good!!!

Been in and out this area over 20 years and I feel sooo dumb🤣 I've been running to Hawthorne ca on Hawthorne Blvd just to purchase banana wrapped tamales and Martha's bakery is sitting right next to the best pizza spot around except for Johnny Blaze pizza. Before you open the door your senses and taste buds start activation of I'm here🤣🤣🤣let's go. The tamales are outstanding beautifully prepared and today I'm going after the bread and of course more tamales 😁

Horrible service, person because the word “lady”is too big for her, she is very rude. As we walked in, she kept looking back as if la migra was coming in. No greetings or anything until we approached her is when she asked what we needed. She seemed rushed when there was literally nobody in the bakery but ourselves. We were excited to get a birthday cake but the service, the price, and selection wasn’t good enough. Now we know why they don’t have any customers.
