I highly recommend checking out the newly relaunched Mattice Beauty Supply. Still Black woman-owned, still rooted in community, and now beautifully refreshed under Davida’s leadership. The renovated space feels bright, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out, making it even easier to shop. Davida and her family have done an incredible job honoring Mattice’s legacy while bringing their own vision to the store. One of my favorite things is that they’re continuing to champion local Black-owned businesses. You’ll still find many of the brands we’ve all come to know and love, including Sunflower Soul Apothecary, Katt’s Bonnets, The Brown Pecan, and many more. If you’re looking for beauty supplies, gifts, or simply want to support a business that genuinely invests in the community, Mattice Beauty Supply is absolutely worth a visit. Wishing Davida and her family continued success as they carry this beautiful legacy forward.

Mattice and her shop are great! She’s got lots of great products, is very helpful, and works hard to support her community as well! She worked with me to help get hair care supplies to our students. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

This is a great spot for ALL hair types. Mattice’s expertise got me on the best shampoo/conditioner combo I’ve ever been on. Her suggestions are on point and I’ll be buying from her as long as she’s in business. Check this spot out! I can’t go backwards, BUY SOMETHING.

Found Mattice Beauty supply in my local neighborhood, as I’m trying to change my shopping habits and cut Amazon/Target and put back into local businesses. I’ve been in both when Mattice is working and when one of her employees are working and has always been a positive experience, with willingness to answer my questions or help finding what I’m looking for. Mattice also puts her money when her mouth is, right back into local business’s. In these authoritarian times, it’s important to know you’re supporting a business that has morals. Take time and stop in, they have everything from kids products to sunglasses. It really doesn’t take much to change how you think and do better to keep your local business’s running, ESPECIALLY your black owned business’s.

The owner was so incredibly helpful when I came in to ask questions regarding my brothers hair as he has curls and I have severely bleach damaged hair. She hooked us up with bonnets, new shampoo and conditioner as well as hair oils and styling products! I 100% recommend shopping here and supporting a small Black and veteran owned business. The owner was so incredibly kind, made great conversation and was just an overall joy to be around and I can’t wait to come back when I need a new set of products! Also the bag was adorable :)
