If I could give this -5 stars, I would. We called ahead to make a reservation for a birthday and they quoted us $160 for unlimited time. Whoever was on the phone with us never told us it was $160 for the deposit. The place never mentioned charges for bottles. The place was a total scam. Instead of charging $160 for the total night (which was mentioned on the phone), they charged us $160 per hour which led to $1200. We finished a couple of hours of karaoke just for our total bill to be $1200. They didn’t charge us $160 in total, they charged us $160 per hour and never communicated on how much the total would be for the hours that were put in, even on the phone call. There was no clarity and instead of using $160 for a fun birthday celebration (WHICH WAS WHAT THE WORKER SAID ON THE PHONE), WE HAD TO PAY $1200???? This is by far the most horrible karaoke spot in Orange County and no one should come to this location. If the workers are going to deceive their customers and name a false price just to change the price at the end, I truly hope that this location closes down. Can’t wait to write honest reviews like this on every single platform. Literally any other karaoke place in Orange County can provide better service WITH CATERING, for $400 LESS than the total amount of this place. $1200 for JUST A MICROPHONE AND NO DRINKS OR FOOD. Thank you for nothing! I hope the owner of this establishment sees this review and does something about it. Also can’t wait to tell all my friends and family to spread the word about how corrupt this place is. Have fun trying to keep this business afloat with all the scams that you’re trying to do, especially to the people who are paying your bills, a.k.a the customers :)

Talk about satisfied customers!..Like we say in Hawaii "Mahalo" aka "Thank you"! My daughter celebrated her birthday last night and we had a blast. We been at alot of Karaoke rooms in Hawaii but not like "Maxim". When we got there the room was already decorated with "Happy Birthday" balloons. Awesome staff and the price is reasonable. Beautiful sound system.. I would give "Maxim" a #10 rating if there was one! Aloha (aka: love or bye), we'll be back! :)

It's just pricier than my usual karaoke joint, otherwise, the room was comfortable, good lighting and effects, large screen. You can bring food and drinks, the karaoke machine uses YouTube, and was not overly complicated. No paper catalog or binder. They also gave me a tambourine, when I asked for one. 😄

called a few days in advance for pricing and was told it would be $160. They failed to include that $160 was the hourly. We asked multiple times on different phone calls how long that would include. and they assured us that this was total and they closed at 5 AM so that would cover the total time 8pm-5am. we though that was an amazing deal. As we are leaving the night of our party they tell us we owe $1,200 because the $160 is hourly. There is no signage anywhere for how much it will cost. online it says it would be $10-25 per person. we received no email confirmation no discussion in person when we arrived for our reservation that we would be expected to pay hourly. when we were leaving and they told us we had to pay over one THOUSAND dollars they were disrespectful and used Zelle as a form of payment. which leaves a bad taste in my mouth as a manager at a small business myself. If i could rate this place zero stars i would. they are just waiting to scam people. If this or something similar has happened to you please contact me.

Was helped by Jae and his friend. They went above and beyond to provide a fun environment for us to sing. We went in for my friends birthday and they blew up balloons and surprised her with a birthday sign without us having to ask them. Towards the end of the night they gifted her with a handmade wooden name tag. Very king people and great atmosphere! Had all the songs we wanted to play as well!
