For Portland residents and visitors looking for a Vietnamese meal, the menu offers options that range from soup to a vermicelli bowl, with dishes suited to both a quick solo visit and a meal with family or friends.

Noodle soups are a recurring reason customers visit. Reviews also point to choices beyond soup. A family meal included caramelized crispy quail as an appetizer, described as tasty, and a vermicelli bowl with grilled shrimp and vegetables that one diner’s wife enjoyed. These details make MeKha Noodle a possible fit for diners who want to compare a noodle soup with a rice-noodle bowl, or share an appetizer before a main dish. OMG. I am a hard core Hu Tieu fan and cannot find anything good compared to Saigon in America. Didn't have any expectations here in Portland when I went to this place since even California can't satisfy me Hu Tieu standard. But damn, this place hit the spot. I was so impressed. The Hu Tieu Nam Vang was legit and authentic with bone based broth taste. The atmosphere, cleanliness and service was all great as well. This is a must try if you are in Portland. I was already full coming here and still have to continue eating until my stomach was blowing up... But the mouth still want to keep going.

Food: Pho Tenderloin and Flank (Tái Nam) (3/5): Less noodles than I expected. It was a bit blander than I thought it would be. The beef was thinly sliced and tender, but not as flavorful as I had hoped. The broth could have used more depth. Unfortunately, I'm still hungry. Service: Not Rated Ok. Nothing special. Ambiance: Not Rated Booth seating.

I ate here earlier today on a solo mission and had no idea I would come across such a gem. Usually, I have an issue of too little meat or too little noodle, but this place was perfectly proportioned. If not being too generous, actually I …
