Michy's Chino Boricua

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation; while the food tasted fine, the chimichurri was more like a garlic sauce than the traditional version. We ordered mofongo stuffed with meat and chimichurri, as well as a standard mofongo with meat; the latter came with the meat in a rather sweet sauce. Although the flavor was exactly what you’d expect, I wouldn't order that dish again; I think it would be better to try their most recommended item, the Chinese-style fried rice. Overall, it’s an average spot, but I wouldn't return because I found it expensive for fast food—almost 50 dollars for two dishes and a juice. Plus, the meal comes with only one side dish, and I’m certain you could get a much better meal elsewhere for the same price.

Visited location for a second time .. husband and I tried different things off the menu . Ordered the jalapeño churrasco plate , the 787 sushi roll and crab ragoon . The churrasco plate was amazing great flavor and great portion . Sushi wasn’t as fresh as the first time but ok overall could’ve been better. Maracuya drink was good.

I was excited to try a Chinese-Puerto Rican restaurant to see how the food tastes. I was disappointed. I ordered the Enchilado Chicken with Mofongo, plus a side of fried chicken. The Enchilado sauce was sweet and spicy, somewhat like sweet-and-sour sauce but with more heat. I expected a more distinctive taste, but it didn’t deliver. This dish consists of chicken, carrots, green bell peppers, and the sauce. The Mofongo, on the other hand, had unique and complex flavors. Made from plantain, I could clearly taste the garlic, and it was quite dense. The fried chicken was decent, with a crispy batter but lacking in flavor. I also sampled the Malta India drink, which was refreshing and had flavors not typically found in major U.S. soda brands. You place your order at the counter, and when your food is ready, a buzzer alerts you to pick it up. After ordering, the checkout screen still shows tipping options, starting at around 25%. Since the service is self-serve, I’m not sure why they request such high tips. It would be a while before I try this place again.

A cool and unique concept blending Chinese and Puerto Rican flavors and it absolutely works. The rice is packed with flavor, everything is seasoned incredibly well, and the portions are massive. One of those spots where every bite hits

First time here. . Not impressed with the Chinese food part. . But the fried chicken and the Dominican and Puerto Rican food was good but not for the price paid. There was no asian person in the restaurant shouldve put chino in the end
