Midtown Nails and Spa is a nail salon in Houston, TX, located at 2204 Louisiana St, Houston, TX 77002 in the Midtown area. For people searching for a convenient place for nail care near central Houston, this salon is known for offering everyday beauty services in an accessible city location. The business maintains a 4.1 rating from 429 reviews, which gives potential customers a useful snapshot: many clients return for regular appointments, while experiences can vary depending on the service and technician. For local search, the key facts are clear and easy to remember: Midtown Nails and Spa serves the Houston, Texas community and is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with Sunday hours from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Customers most often mention nail services such as manicures, pedicures, fills, French tips, polish changes, and acrylic work. Reviews also reference toe polish and acrylic on toes, showing that the salon handles a range of standard nail salon requests rather than focusing on only one specialty. Some guests specifically praise individual technicians for careful work on hands and toes, and one reviewer highlighted Ella by name for consistently strong results. That kind of feedback suggests that returning clients may build relationships with the technicians they trust. At the same time, a few reviews mention uneven shaping, color-matching issues during fills, or results that did not last as long as expected, so people who have a very specific look in mind may want to communicate details clearly before the service begins.
The overall atmosphere described by customers feels busy, practical, and appointment-friendly, especially for people who want to fit nail care into a workweek routine in Houston. Because the salon is in Midtown, it can make sense for downtown workers, nearby residents, students, or anyone already spending time in central Houston, TX. Reviews suggest that service speed can depend on how crowded the salon is and which staff member is providing the treatment. Some guests appreciated fast service and left pleased with both manicure and pedicure results, while others were more focused on customer-service details like communication, recommendations at check-in, or whether the experience felt attentive from start to finish. This makes Midtown Nails and Spa a spot where expectations may be best managed by choosing a technician carefully and explaining preferences upfront.
For visitors looking up Midtown Nails and Spa online, the salon stands out less for luxury claims and more for its central location, broad menu of familiar nail services, and steady stream of local reviews. It appears to work well for routine maintenance like fills, polish changes, manicure touch-ups, and pedicure visits, especially for customers who already know the shape, finish, or acrylic style they want. The combination of weekday and Saturday hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM also makes it practical for after-work appointments, while Sunday availability adds another option for weekend self-care. In local SEO terms, that makes Midtown Nails and Spa a recognizable nail salon choice in Houston, Texas for people comparing nearby options based on convenience, services offered, and real customer feedback.
If you are deciding whether Midtown Nails and Spa is the right fit, the most accurate takeaway is that it is a well-known Houston nail salon with mixed but substantial community feedback. Many clients report kind staff members, satisfying manicures or pedicures, and dependable results from favored technicians. Others note inconsistency in shaping, polish longevity, or front-desk interactions. For families, professionals, students, and local residents in Midtown Houston, it may be a useful choice for standard nail care when location and hours matter. The clearest strengths are its accessible Midtown address, full-week schedule, and variety of common salon services; the clearest tip for new clients is to be specific about the result you want and, if possible, return to the technician whose work matches your style.

Sign in to reviewI went in for a fill and French tip, and this is the result. All of my nails are a different shape, the French tip is uneven on all nails, and the acrylic color that was used to fill in didn’t match the old acrylic color. I am beyond disappointed with the outcome and will NEVER be returning. **Update: I returned to have my nails fixed and was met with a hostile approach by management, along with being warranted to delete my google review before even seeing the end results. Due to their demanding and unapologetic nature, I then refused for my nails to be fixed and left the salon. Please spend your hard earned money at salons that not only display professionalism, but also provide skilled technicians.
The BEST💖 place ever to get your nails💅 done! Each time I leave Midtown Nails and Spa I’m always so very pleased. Everyone is genuinely kind and amazing. Ella outdoes herself each time she does my hands, and other times I’ve had my toes done with the other ladies there I have NEVER‼️ left disappointed. The prices are unbeatable, service is top notch, and if you are looking for a home base for your nail services, THIS is it!
So today was my 1st time visiting here and they were very busy they offer fast service depending on who you get. I got a manicure and a toe polish with acrylic on my toes. The guy who did my feet was quick and I am very satisfied but the highlight of my review goes to the lady that did my manicure. I didn't get her name but she was the sweetest. She took a couple of forever but I understood it's because she wanted to do her best and she did just that. She was kind and sweet and made sure I was satisfied with every step in the process before she moved to the next step. I swear I love my nails. Thank you so much 💓 💗 !!!!
Horrible. I went and request polish change on my toes, cut down and fill in on my nails. Everything was great while being seated., but the lady at the front desk insisted that I get a pedicure and told me that my polish would be ugly on my feet if I didn't get the pedicure because of my cuticles, but I denied and I continue with polish change which my toes are wonderful, but my hands are horrible. The polish instantly started bubbling up once I left the shop within 2 to 3 hours and then I seen my polish coming off of my nails instantly and I chose gel polish which no polish Should do that at all. I felt rushed and I felt the lady at the desk was very pushy on what I should get. Not to mention I didn't even know they had refreshments because I wasn't even offered any.
Bad service, manicure didn’t last a week. I got 5 services and not 1 person offered me anything to drink, I don’t drink alcohol, but I was there for 1.5 hours. Only after I paid and said something was I offered a small bottle of water. They don’t speak to you with any care or customer service skills. I might has well went to get my oil changed and just keep getting up charged. I’m going back to Gloss.
