Mingala International Mart is a grocery store at 2548 SE 122nd Ave in Portland, Oregon, serving shoppers looking for groceries and specialty products. Customer feedback describes halal food and products among the reasons to shop here. One reviewer specifically mentioned buying beef and duck, while another was pleased to find Najjar Turkish coffee with medium cardamom, a favorite they had been searching for. These details offer a useful starting point if you are exploring the store for meat, coffee, or other international grocery items. Product selection and availability can change, so shoppers with a particular item in mind may want to check in before making a special trip.
The customer experiences shared online are mixed, and it is worth considering them as individual accounts rather than guarantees of what every visit will be like. Some shoppers describe finding products they value, including the coffee and meat noted above. Other reviewers raise concerns about cashier service, line management, and staff professionalism. One review also reports dissatisfaction with the condition of fresh meat and food handling. These are serious concerns expressed by customers, not verified findings, and they provide a reason to use your own judgment when shopping. For meat or other perishable products, inspect items and packaging yourself and ask staff about any questions you have.
A reviewer also found the cake too sweet for their taste, a reminder that preferences can differ, particularly for familiar foods and flavors. If you enjoy browsing international grocery shelves, Mingala International Mart may be worth considering for products that are not part of a typical supermarket run. The references to halal goods, beef, duck, and cardamom Turkish coffee help set expectations, but they do not establish that every item is halal or that every product will be in stock. Call or visit to confirm what is currently available, especially when planning around a specific ingredient or dietary need.
The store is located at 2548 SE 122nd Ave, Portland, OR 97236. Listed hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday; it is listed as closed Wednesday, with Friday hours of 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Because Friday hours are shorter and schedules can change, confirm the current hours before heading over. The listing shows a 4.1 rating from 390 reviews, which reflects a range of customer opinions rather than a promise about an individual visit. For Portland shoppers comparing local grocery options, this information can help decide whether the store’s international and halal product references match what they need.

Halal food & products in town, I used to buy beef and duck in there, so good but cake is too sweet for us because I’m asean girl.
I did notice that the customer service is a little off but they weren’t blatantly rude however when me And my daughter went in to shop, I quickly found the najaar Turkish coffee with medium cardamom I have been looking for my favorite coffee ever, I was quite happy then I went to counter area see if they had the Turkish style coffee pot and they actually had the sizes and they were very pretty but there were two men behind the counter and they were talking and didn’t much care to pay attention to me and I had to say excuse me can I please get help, and he handed me two coffee pot sizes I asked for and the smallest one had damage in the bottom the interior ceramic was flaking off m, soi bought the medium size and I love it, but the guy wasn’t rude, he was fine, aside from not giving me the attention initially I think customers deserve, my daughters were a bit excited at the cool candies, then asked to see their selection of resin incense and was surprised at a new incense resin I had never seen before it is glorious and smells so divine and great price I bought a box of sandalwood incense sticks which turned out not to smell very good after all, but after ringing up the stuff I thought that cost a bit more than it should have and after getting home realized I was charged twice for one item so this is a concern since many other customers are having the same issue, stealing from a customer is just as bad as a customer stealing! So many think I’ll go to the other market in Gresham there is a small halal market on division and Main Street and the owner is so sweet!
