We got a Goodie Bag last month with almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, kouign-amann, and coffee cake. Solid pastries with a fun twist. The kouign-amann were our favorite! Cinnamon rolls were nicely spiced. Almond croissants were twice-baked with a massive layer of frangipane... we actually felt it was a bit *too* much since it made the croissant very cake-y, but that's our preference Excited to buy some of the other pastries that caught our eye next time we're in the area
Today, a customer who dined at our restaurant surprised us with a wonderful assortment of pastries and cookies from this bakery We were busy that we didn't get a chance to properly thank you in person, so I wanted to say it here: thank you so much! Our entire staff absolutely loved everything. The quality was truly exceptional, and it's honestly hard to find pastries this good in the Denver area. Now I completely understand why your bakery has such amazing reviews. I'm a huge pastry lover, and every single bite was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be stopping by your bakery very soon! I love how open this bakery is, you walk in and you're not in a cramped line up to order, you have the space to really look around. The pastries are made with care, I think most cafes/bakeries now have been experimenting with flavors but here I think it's more intentional with flavor, while I'm not sure on a miso peanut butter cookies I do love the pop tarts and croissant flavors. Overall, definitely worth a visit, I think for my specific tastes it lends more on the sweeter side.
I'm so lucky to have this place in my neighborhood, but honestly, make the trip to enjoy their goodies no matter where you are! I stopped in for the first time pretty late in the afternoon on March 27th. The extremely friendly person helping me described what they had available, and at her suggestion, I chose the vegan lemon yuzu tea cake. I'm not vegan, but believe me, you don't need to be to enjoy this yumminess! My daughter owns a vegan bakery, so I've done my fair share of taste testing of vegan baked goods, and I'm not kidding when I say this is among the best I've had! The taste and texture are spot on! Just the right amount of lemon, a dense (but somehow light, as well?!) cake, and the perfect glaze made for a wonderful afternoon treat. The building is set back off the street, and the entrance to the bakery is perpendicular to the street, so you might have to look a little for it. The parking lot is small, but there's tons of free street parking all around. Set your GPS and go to Moon Raccoon! You will not be disappointed.
