From start to finish, my experience with Moon Valley was outstanding. Landscape Designer: Billy McCarty was excellent at his job. He took the time to explain everything I wanted to know, answered all of my questions, and kept in touch by checking with me the day before and again on the day of delivery. His communication and customer service were exceptional. Install Crew Foreman: James Goodnight was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He explained the installation process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything went smoothly. Install Crew: The entire crew was friendly, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. They left my yard clean and looking just as they found it. Working in the Texas heat is no easy task, so hats off to these guys for their dedication and work ethic. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m very glad I chose Moon Valley and will definitely use them again for my future landscaping needs. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality landscaping and outstanding customer service. Thank you again for a job well done!

This place is a joke. We bought tons of plants and trees for our new home. 27 hollys died within 2 weeks. When we reached out to get a solution, they said to give it 60 days as they needed to acclimate or recover from shock. It took months but they finally replaced them and lot and behold, exact same issue. Their products are inferior. We haven’t even bothered reaching out to them again as dealing with them is just more stress. We bought an equal amount of greenery from a different nursery and it’s thriving in the same yard. Surprisingly it didn’t have the “shock” that moon valleys products have traveling 10 miles in Dallas. Should also mention they conveniently have failed to refund the tax paid even though we gave them a tax exempt form. One manger claimed they misplaced it.

I had a pool built in my backyard mid 2023. There was a beautiful Crepe Myrtle at 1 end corner of the pool and it looked so great with the white marble deck and banana trees on the other corner. I soon realized the Crepe had to go as the blooms got in the pool and stained the marble. Having vacationed 17 times on the Mexican Riviera I loved the various type of palm trees so I went to the Moon Valley Nursery in Carrollton, TX to begin that search to have a bit of Mexico in my backyard. That particular day Carly was at that site and walked the lot showing me different trees and I finally knew the Date Palm was my choice. The tree was planted Oct 2023 and was 30 years old weighing 3000 pounds and looked exquisite by the pool. The 2023 winter was extremely harsh and my opinion is the tree didn't have time to acclimate to being in the ground and then the bitter temps didn't allow it to survive. The story goes on and Carly recommended replacing with a Sabal Palm which I've seen a number of these trees in the area and well suited here. She assigned Madea the task of finding a replacement tree. She orchestrated having 4 Sabal palms transported from their farm in Southern TX to Carrollton for me to choose. My Sable tree isn't quite as large as the Date palm, but just as impressive. It was planted April 2025. I have met so many of the team & what is crazy amazing as a lot of them are family......Carly, Cy, Alana & Leighton + Madea and I don't recall if Colton is a sibling or not + several MVP team names (Christian Hall, William Crawford, Eddie Vallejo) & may have been others, but I don't recall. Overall the Moon Valley team all have made for a great Customer experience for me. Carly gave me a great price when purchasing the Date palm.......the warranty allowed the Date palm to be replaced with the Sabal palm. With each planting the team members were all skilled in their roles and work as a single unit which Alana has been a sweetheart giving me the "white glove" customer care that reaffirms that the quality of service is equal or even tops the quality of a product or service a company provides and that is my assessment of this great company - Moon Valley Nurseries.........

This place is horrible. I spent over $1,000 on two trees. Got them home and planted them in brand new fertilized dirt from living Earth. They did not make it 3 days and all the leaves were burnt and crunchy. The trees were totally dead. I …

So glad I found this place! Thank you Brandon, for helping me figure out best plants for my project! Brandon was so helpful, friendly , thorough and responsive. I even called the wrong number of another location in Arizona, and they were also so friendly, definitely going back, appreciate it! The selection of agave was great and loved how my xeriscape turned out.
