MoonLight Nails & Spa is a nail salon at 416 Market St, Brighton, MA 02135, serving people looking for nail care in Brighton, MA. Customer reviews describe a welcoming experience, friendly communication, and nail technicians who listen to what clients want. The salon has a 4.6-star rating from 156 reviews, giving local customers a useful snapshot of feedback from a range of visits. Whether you are planning a regular appointment or choosing a salon for the first time, reviews suggest that clear communication and a comfortable visit are part of the appeal.

Client feedback mentions services including Gel X extensions, dip powder, gel polish, French tips, and cat-eye designs. One reviewer was especially pleased with a Gel X French tip set, while another described a dip soak-off followed by Gel X with a cat-eye finish. These examples offer a sense of the looks customers have requested; the reviews do not establish that every design or service is available at every appointment. If you have a particular shape, finish, or reference image in mind, describing it clearly to your nail technician can help set expectations before the service begins.

Several customers mention returning regularly and feeling that technicians understand the look they are after. Reviewers specifically praise Alex, Kim, Anna, and Ken for their work or attentive service, and one customer appreciates the owner's kindness and helpfulness. Other feedback speaks to staff being easy to communicate with and the overall environment feeling pleasant. Experiences with wear and finish are not uniform: while some customers report being very happy with their nails, one reviewer said a Gel X set did not last as expected. Sharing your priorities and asking questions during your visit can help you decide which service best fits your needs.

MoonLight Nails & Spa is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its Brighton location makes it a local option for people seeking nail services during the week or on the weekend. The range of customer comments may be helpful if you are comparing nail salons in the area: reviews highlight both positive service experiences and differing opinions about how long a set lasted. For current availability, pricing, and the right service for your preferred style, contact the salon directly before making plans. A little detail about the finish you want can make it easier to have a productive consultation.

Ive been going to Moonlight once/twice a month for about a year and a half. They never disappoint! Alex and Kim have done my nails the most, but any nail tech there will give you exactly what you’re looking for! The owner is so sweet and helpful. Cannot recommend enough.

I’m very picky about where I go to do my nails but after seeing the reviews I decided to come here for the first time. I had a pleasant experience and Anna was wonderful and kind! The dip soak off and gel x with cat eye took about an hour and was under $100. Great price and services, will def come back!

I liked my nails a lot, I got gel x french tip, but they fell off within 6 days of me getting them. At first I thought it was reasonably priced but unfortunately I won’t be going back. They also werent pushed back to my cuticle and looked grown out after 4 days. I lost the whole set within a week of getting them bc they just fell off.

I don’t want to hurt a family run business so I’m being generous with my rating. I’m giving 3 stars largely because of Ken who has consistently corrected issues from previous appointments and has always provided excellent service. I’ve been a customer here for approximately three years and visit several times each year. Unfortunately, unless Ken is doing my nails, I often leave dissatisfied with the results. Even when I provide clear guidance and constructive feedback during the appointment, the process can feel unnecessarily stressful. In my experience, some technicians become defensive when concerns are raised rather than addressing the issue directly. On more than one occasion, uneven work was attributed to the shape of my fingers rather than the quality of the application itself. I’ve also observed other customers nearby expressing similar frustrations during their appointments. My hope is that the salon invests more in training and quality control for its technicians. At the current price point, often approaching $100 per service, I believe clients should be able to expect a more consistent level of workmanship and customer service.
