Lots of solid selections and a variety of dry noodles. They really packed the goods in this tiny store!
I’m not Asian, but love exploring this market. Great variety, reasonable prices, and public parking across the street. I’ve bought Chinese eggplant (awesome), spinach, bok choy, scallions, celery, thick-skinned Italian grapes, lychees, and fresh jackfruit. I also tried dried anchovies (still tweaking how to get them to dissolve well) and ground shrimp (good) to add more umami to my everyday cooking. Durian and dragon fruit are next on my list. Much of the staff doesn’t speak English, but the store is well organized and easy to navigate, with plenty of room everywhere. There’s a fresh seafood section with live lobster, eels, etc., so it smells accordingly. They should have a website. Highly recommend.

Soft opening this weekend. Some shelves are empty. Decent prices on fresh produce but slightly more but better than traveling into Boston or Quincy for Asian groceries. Has a fish section near entrance on left side. Unfortunately, there’s No bakery or BBQ section. Inside cashier markets says ‘C-Mart’ so the store could be associated with the C-Mart market stores. Parking & traffic may be bad since it’s literally in the middle of Newton Centre but there’s a dedicated parking lot in the left back side of the store.
