No. 1 Boba Tea Skye Canyon

Cozy, clean, & comfortable location. Great place to chat with friends, study, or to just hang out. Angel & Tanya were our boba-ristas and were so kind, even letting us sample our drinks before making our decision. We ordered Honey Earl Grey Tea & Assam Milk Tea, both were so yummy. Would order again & will def be coming here again!

We came in for a Divich Knight & the cashier was so nice & the staff was kind enough to fix an order for us. Boba drinks are always good.

The first time I tried No. 1 Boba Tea was at the Aliante (North Decatur) location and I thought their drinks were phenomenal. After realizing that they built another store in the Skye Canyon area, I was excited to go have it again since it's in my neighborhood. Now, let's be honest here, I'm not one of those grand masters of boba tea so I can't tell you the rich history behind each tea flavor, but the times that I've tried it, the flavors were wonderful. During this visit, my family and I ordered the Japanese Sencha Milk Tea w/Boba, Matcha Milk Tea w/Boba, and Peanut Butter Banana (PBB) Slush. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and I was especially impressed with the PBB Slush - it's too bad they don't offer protein powder to add to it because that's one of the best protein-inspired PBB drinks I've ever had...and that's comparing it to several smoothie and "health" drink stores in the city. On the other hand, my Japanese Sencha drink was exquisite! This is the same drink I ordered when I visited the Aliante location store, but wanted to try it here so I had something similar to compare it to. Needless to say, it was a little better than the first time I tried it. The employees were very friendly which is always a plus when you walk into any business. The store was very clean and still had the brand new building smell to it - yes, I've visited new stores before in which it was already trashed, dirty, and didn't smell pleasant. If you leave it up to people to maintain a store, then yes, it can get to that state easily; if you leave it up to people who don't care at all to maintain a facility, then it'll automatically get to that state. Rest assured, this store doesn't seem to have employees like that, so as a result, the store was very clean...to include the (men's) bathroom. The prices at this store, to include the entire franchise, is very reasonable. I especially respect this business for their continued support to the active service members in the Armed Forces to include its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I highly recommend this place to everyone! If you're in the area or driving by on Interstate 95, you definitely need to make a pit stop and grab a refreshing drink from here. Note: As of 19 Jun 2024, this store location wasn't added to their website; however, I can tell you that it is indeed there for you to visit.
