Noble Castella is a bakery at 100 High St in Boston, MA, inside High Street Place, a food hall-style setting near South Station. It’s a convenient stop for people working downtown, travelers passing through the station area, and anyone looking for cake or a drink during the day. Visitors describe the space as clean and cozy, with comfortable seating. That makes it a place to pause and enjoy a treat rather than simply pick something up on the way. Noble Castella has a 4.5-star rating from 90 reviews, offering a useful overview of customer experiences while leaving room for individual tastes to differ.

Cakes are a prominent part of the customer feedback. One visitor praised their caramel cheesecake, which the owners recommended, describing it as delicious and true to its name. Carrot cake has also earned a positive mention, and another reviewer noted that the cakes look attractive and distinctive. Red velvet cake appears among the options customers have tried, though one review found its frosting a little salty. These varied impressions are a reminder that flavors and sweetness are personal, but the reviews point to a bakery where cake is a good place to start exploring.

The menu feedback also mentions castella cake, milk bread, cookies, pastries, and drinks. A visitor enjoyed the milk bread for its especially spongy texture, while another mentioned a chocolate chip cookie among the tempting choices. Matcha latte is available according to customer reviews, although one visitor found it mediocre; another review describes a server suggesting a matcha drink. Since experiences with particular items vary, guests may want to ask staff for a recommendation or choose based on the flavors and textures they enjoy. The selection can make choosing difficult, especially for first-time visitors.

Noble Castella’s reported schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 7 a.m.–9 p.m.; Thursday, 7 a.m.–11 p.m.; Friday, 7 a.m.–10 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.–10 p.m. The bakery is closed Sunday. Its downtown Boston address and reported weekday hours make it a practical option for a morning pastry, an afternoon dessert, or a stop after work, with Saturday hours for weekend visits. Whether you’re drawn by caramel cheesecake, carrot cake, soft milk bread, or simply a comfortable place to sit near South Station, Noble Castella offers several ways to make a dessert break part of a Boston day.

The cakes look pretty and uniquely delicious. The cake im having is caramel cheesecake, recommended by the owners themselves. It’s really good and lives up to its name. The place itself is inside a food court like, clean and seats are comfy. 10/10 would def come back to try other cakes and drinks.

A cozy place, delicious carrot cake. Other pantries are good too. So close to the South Station. Worth to stop by and try.

Mediocre matcha latte and the castella cake was under baked on the bottom half inch, making it rubbery and more eggy tasting. The cake also had a bitter taste to some bites, which was confusing for its "supposed to be subtle" flavor. The red velvet cakes frosting was a little salty for my tastes. The food and drinks are more aesthetically pleasing for pictures than tasty. The service was quick and polite but I feel like it didn't make up for the overall quality of their drinks and food.

New Japanese bakery in High Street Place! Their selections looked really good and it was definitely hard to choose which ones to try. One of their classics are the milk bread which I tried. It was pretty simple tasting, but the texture was incredibly spongy which I enjoyed. The chocolate chip cookie was a great cookie—crunchy outside but soft inside. The Brazilian dark chocolates were decadent as well.
