Sign in to reviewI’m writing this review because I’m very disappointed and disgraced because of my experience with NEMS clinic on Sanbruno ave SF. Not only have I been treated harshly and disrespectfully because I’m a black single woman/ Mom but my last visit was a ultra sound where I was sexually abused by the nurse who did my ultra sound a few months ago! I’m still shocked that this happened to me so it took me a while to write this review. The lady who did my ultra sound said her name was Grace. My ultrasound was on July 24 at 4:15. It was really strange because Grace talked to me as if I was a mentally disabled kid ! I had to correct her because I’m a 49 year old highly intellectual woman and felt completely insulted . It was strange because She did the ultrasound downstairs on the bottom ground floor where literally nobody but Grace and I were . It just seemed like something wasn’t right! During the ultrasound Grace used the camera to take pictures of my fibroids but it was the way she inserted the camera inside me and her voice began to change and she purposely made me feel as if I was being sexually assaulted! I told her to stop because of how she was making me feel . I will not let this experience be ignored until something is done regarding this kind of cruel degrading treatment. Also the Dentist at this same clinic treats me as if I’m less than human! My whole experience lately with NEMS clinic has been horrible! There’s a few kind employees there who treated me well but the others I’m speaking of along with all the doctors I saw there lately needs to be looked into. My experience with NEMS have been hostile and completely bias. Grace should be fired for sexual harassment! As I stated I will not rest until something is done because if someone violated them the way I was it would definitely be a big deal. I’m prayerfully hoping that this review is not just read but is taken seriously and looked into immediately. God bless !
My mom had a great experience with Dr. Anna Szeto at the optometry department. She is gentle, caring, and explains everything clearly. I finally understood why eye dilation is needed after hearing her explanation. While we waited for the dilation, the pharmacy staffs had already filled my mom’s eye drops. Highly recommend Dr. Szeto—and the pharmacy team too!
I’ve had a very disappointing experience with this clinic. I did not feel heard, supported, or treated with respect. If you are African American or of any non-Asian ethnicity, I would strongly caution you to consider seeking care elsewhere. I was consistently talked over instead of being listened to, and my interactions with Yolanda were especially frustrating. My medication has been stuck at the pharmacy for nearly a month, and when I reached out for help, I was told nothing could be done—even though the issue began when my prescription was sent to the wrong clinic despite my clearly stating “Safeway.” This has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would.
Terrible experience ever! My mom had an appointment for blood draw at 11:40. Then she waited there with empty stomach for 30 minutes! But couldn’t get her turn! It turns out the reception desk forgot to check her in! After 45 minutes, she finally got her blood draw. Then the nurse forgot to do her blood cell count! They have to put a needle in my moms arm twice! The most careless and disorganized service! The most terrible experience EVER!
Horrible DR sat with me all of a few mins maybe 10 tops didn’t listen to my concerns completely dismissed all the symptoms. The overall feeling was that he just wanted to rush me out. This my first PCP visit in years no routine bloodwork ordered, no discussion about my concerns, or follow up plans completed dismissed me and showed zero interest. Having no transferred to different provider they were also shocked that I wasn’t given a referral to ENT or had any bloodwork ordered, complete negligence. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
