Nu-Hair

I started going here 4 months ago, at first I thought it was fantastic, then Everytime I went back the owner jacked the price of the wig I was buying. First it was $49.00 then $59.00 then $89.00. The last two times I went I bought 2 wigs that were marked $49.00 a piece, the woman laughed and started to remove the price and said it was mismarked and it should be $59.00. I looked at her and said seriously, she charged me $49.00. my last and final time I went there was last week, the man there said the wig was $59.00 I said it was $49.00 last week, he said ok he would charge me $49.00. I bought a $5.00 glue and one wig and he charged me $65.00. I WON'T BE GOING BACK THERE EVER!!!! These people who own this store are not very smart, I usually spend $3,500 a year on wigs per year. These people are so greedy that they list a really what would be a good customer. I'm going to contact the district attorneys office because I'm case they didn't know it IT IS AGAINST MY THE LAW TO PRICE GAUGE!; DIDN'T HI TO THIS STORE!! THEY ARE SHADY AND SMILE AS YOU WALK IN AND OVERCHARGE YOU EVERYTIME.

Only come here if you are desperate. Store is disorganized, packs of hair piled up everywhere. I went to buy developer and hair dye today, developer was kept in some secret place in the back where only employees can get to, only to see that it expired in 2023 when I got home. Waste of time and money, will not be returning.

Google needs to do better, Nu Hair comes up in the search for "Black owned beauty supply" and it most definitely is not black owned. This store is terrible. There's piles and piles of "hair" down the aisles- completely unorganized... and you know there's a rats nest somewhere in the midst of it all. The hair care products on the shelves are eons old, what is available upfront is cluttered and dusty. The staff errs on the low end of mid. They ask if you need help knowing good and well their store looks like that - so yeah, please help (?). So why have we shopped there? I don't, my daughters will, with money they make at their jobs- and they choose that location because of the variety (they can't actually get to). I'm the driver 😞 It's been difficult for me to get them to recognize that their patronage isn't valued. The one black owned store closest to us has odd hours and I NEVER feel like driving to Oakland. If this store really valued it's customers, they'd have a righteous environment. If they catered to a primarily hwite market or even a market of their peers, it would never look like that. MJ said it best: they don't really care about us.. Add to it KMD: They want money.

Was very uncomfortable inside. No air conditioning and hard to breathe. But reasonable pricing for their products that I bought
