Went to this location based on Google reviews because we are from out of town and staying one night. Wow amazing! The beef dish I got was so good. Can tell small family run business and we love that. Very clean and food was amazingly fresh. Will be back next time in town.
As people who eat a lot of Vietnamese food around the Puget Sound area, this was unfortunately one of our least favorite Vietnamese meals. We ordered the Bun Ga Xao, which was described as having a coconut curry flavor. Other than the yellow color, we couldn't taste much coconut or curry at all. The dish came with the usual bun dressing, but it lacked the fish sauce flavor we would expect. Even more surprising, the chicken and vegetables seemed barely seasoned and were missing even a basic level of salt. We also tried one of the banh mi sandwiches. The menu proudly claims they have the "best banh mi in town," but it didn't live up to that statement. The bread was very soft and lacked the crispy texture of a traditional Vietnamese baguette. The meat was supposed to be grilled, but there was very little grilled flavor. The carrots and daikon also didn't seem properly pickled, which made the sandwich taste flat. The tea and iced tea both had an unusual flavor that neither of us enjoyed. I ended up eating only half of my sandwich and didn't want the rest. Overall, something just felt off about the food. The restaurant was very busy when we visited, which surprised us because it is tucked away in an industrial area. Given the high ratings online, we were expecting much more. Everyone's taste is different, but based on our visit, the food lacked the bold, fresh, and balanced flavors that make Vietnamese cuisine so enjoyable.
The food here is fantastic. Have had the Bahn mi sandwiches, the pho, and this vermicelli bowl and everything is cooked perfectly. The BBQ pork is so tender and delicious - wish I lived closer so I could come every week. The staff are also …
This is what happiness looks like. Always love the pho I get a large numer 8 every time I go . The broth is both savory and slightly sweet and full of flavor. Customer service is always top notch. If you want the best bowl of pho this is where you should go.
Excellent pho tai - bright, flavorful broth and generous portion of meat and noodles. Friendly service and fast! I’d come back to try more of the menu.
