Panamex Bakery has an exceptional array of sweets. Their churros are also quite tasty (although I prefer mine with cinnamon). 😋 Very friendly service and will definitely come back anytime I’m in the area.
I came in for a cake and left with sides for dinner!! I purchased a beautiful 10/10 tasty tres leches, 9.5/10 green spaghetti, and the best green salsa I’ve ever had in Houston. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE SIDES 🔥 I know I’m going hard for the sides but the cake was truly amazing. Highly recommend. Panamex made my husband’s special day, extra special 🩷🩷🩷
Beautiful small Mexican bakery with assorted sweet breads to choose from. The price is very cheap and the service is fast. The bread is soft and delicious. Definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a pan dulce with Chocolate abuelita this winter. 😉 …
Do not trust this bakery. They are low class. They do not even have proper boxes for the cakes. This is how unprofessional they are for boxes. Low class. 50 bucks for a cake. This is the best they can do? Do not use these people. I feel RIPPED OFF. The pictures are of how they actually send out the cakes. The box is for donuts. They half a$$ tape it open. The picture is exactly how you leave with it. Cake was damaged from their low class package. Notice most people like cookies and bread. One good review about a wedding cake, I bet it was delivered. I think you will be disappointed if you buy a cake. They should stick to cookies and bread or up their packing for cakes. Again. LOW CLASS PLACE. The food is kept out in the open on bakery racks. Not even stored professionally. Ugh. The flies on your rolls, breads and cookies. Eat up (hey thats not a raisin)
Like other bakeries, this place is pretty Cozy. The things are neatly stored in drawer things and just looks nice. They also sell drinks, salsa, gelatin, tamales, candles, and a bunch more. They also have does Mexican paper things with patterns on them, which look nice as decoration. The floors are like Level 2.8 out of 10 dirty, so not really dirty. Staff is also very friendly! The food is also very good! I recommend that one bread that is made to look like a watermelon slice, with chocolate chips as the seeds! So, overall, 5/5! Also, I need to stop saying "also" so much.
