We ordered takeout from Panang a couple of days ago and, overall, it was another enjoyable meal. We started with the Crispy Pork Spring Rolls, and they were excellent. The filling was generous with plenty of flavorful pork, while the wrapper was perfectly crisp without being overly greasy. They were easily one of the highlights of the meal. For the main dishes, we ordered the Red Curry with Chicken and Basil Fried Rice with Beef, both at spice level 3. The red curry was as good as ever—rich, creamy, and packed with tender chicken and fresh vegetables. The spice level was just right, adding a nice kick without overpowering the flavors. It's one of those dishes that's consistently reliable and keeps us coming back. The only disappointment was the Basil Fried Rice with Beef. The flavor itself was good, but the texture wasn't quite there. The fried rice was a bit soggy instead of having the slightly dry, wok-fried texture you'd expect. More noticeably, the beef was quite tough and difficult to chew. It may simply be the cut of beef being used, but switching to a more tender cut or adjusting the cooking method would make a big difference. Even with that minor hiccup, Panang continues to be one of our go-to spots for Thai food. The quality is generally consistent, the portions are generous, and most of the dishes are prepared with care. We'll definitely be back—and hopefully the fried rice is as good as the curry next time.

I come here alot to doordash, they seated me fast. The Thai Tea was delicious. I also enjoyed the fresh shrimp spring rolls with the shrimp and peanut sauce. I was not a fan of the Pad Thai, it was very sweet and not savory like im used to. The portions were large enough for 2 people to eat though. Just wasn't a fan of the sauce they use on the Pad Thai, maybe next time I will try something else though.

The massaman curry and pad see ew were so good , the spice level on both was absolutely perfect. The curry was rich and packed with tender chicken, potatoes, sweet potatoes , and peanuts, and the pad see ew had that great charred wok flavor with just the right balance. Authentic, flavorful, and consistent. Will definitely be back.

Panang 2 Thai has become my absolute favorite Thai spot in Oklahoma City! The restaurant is always clean, with spotless bathrooms, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive every visit. The food is outstanding. Their Pineapple Fried Rice is hands-down the best I’ve had, sweet, savory, and packed with flavor. That said, my go-to order is the Evil Jungle Chicken Curry. It’s bold, spicy, and incredibly satisfying every single time. If you’re craving authentic Thai with great portions and fresh ingredients, this is the place. Highly recommend, consistently excellent!

I normally rave about Panang food, especially their lunch. Today however (Thur) rather disappointed. First bite of what was supposed to be garlic pork, cold. Really, their dishes usually are piping hot, not today. I stirred and warmed but not much. The steamed rice, smh, on the colder side. I poured my soup broth over the rice to soften and warm. I like their spring rolls but this one had been cooked earlier and must have sat near a heat lamp. Thing about it it was still good although temp was not good. I had said earlier my entrees was supposed to be pork but I swear it was chicken. Again maybe it was just I got the last of the lunch special but normally Panang is really delicious.
