First time I've ever taken the time to post a negative review. That's how crazy it went today. It's the first time I ever went in to try the breakfast tacos I've been going to La Montaña for years. At first I'm excited because while I'm in line, the older lady taking care of the customers is being so sweet and nice and that already sets the mood of me thinking I like it here. Well my husband and I noticed there's 2 different lines formed so we mistakenly assume one is for like orders by the lb since everyone is ordering barbacoa and carnitas. Husband goes off to that other long line and I stay put because I only wanted a taco. My mistake was hollering at my husban to ask if he wanted an order of tortillas for his lbs because I figured I could take some from here already hot and ready. Well a few seconds later my husband is being talked crap to about why are we getting 2 different people to order from. That we can't do that. He tried to laugh it up and explain we just thought there was 2 different processes but that we both stood our own spots in line. We didn't cut anyone. My husband said he didn't want them to get mad. But then this employee went off to talk crap to the sweet older lady about taking my order. This is when I got pisst off. The sweet older lady tried explaining there was no way for her to know we were together, that I was in line and she took my order. But obviously this employee of the month didn't give a crap. So I called out to her and asked what the problem was, she ignored me completely and proceeded to a different order not allowing my husband to finish his ordering, he didn't want to deal with it so just took what he already had. I had to choose to let the incident go because I felt it would make things worse for the sweet employee. I left super sad that she has to work amoung them. The employee the month must of gone to the back to talk her crap because who I assume was the manager came out looking around and asking who was it, I looked directly at him hoping he'd address the situation so that I could let him know what horrible service they had. But you could tell he had no interest in "managing". I wasn't going to cause a scene where everyone is trying to just have a good Sunday breakfast but I swear this employees lack education and possess no customer service skills.
After work on Saturday, I went to Panchos and bought Fajitas Tejas 12.99$ per pound (3lbs), and the Ribs 8.99$ per pound (4lbs) It came out to about 85$. …
Um why did I order regular chicken and was charged for marinated chicken??? the lady who rang us up was trying to say that it’s the same price? Normally, marinated chicken goes for a higher price and there was no sign that said “marinated AND regular chicken for $___ a pound.” Yeah okay that’s very weird….
