Sign in to reviewExcellent cakes — I give them 5/5. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. I’ve bought from them more than once and definitely not for the last time. The last time I purchased a cake, they even treated me to some pastries, which was a very pleasant surprise. The only thing I’d like to mention — and I hope they fix it after this comment — is the hours of operation. It says they’re open until 9 PM, but in reality they close at 8.
I ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk and vanilla syrup, and it was the first matcha I truly enjoyed — after trying it here, I actually fell in love with matcha. The almond milk is excellent, with no bitterness or unpleasant aftertaste like I’ve experienced in other cafés. The matcha itself is delicious, smooth, and perfectly balanced. This was at Paris Baguette, a bakery and take-out café located inside H Mart, Mira Mesa, San Diego, California. The staff are very polite and attentive, always ready to answer questions and help with your order. I highly recommend trying the matcha here — it’s really tasty and high-quality!
It could be that we came at a wrong time. They didn’t have much left. I got a chocolate croissant. It’s very rich with chocolate custard filling. I wish croissant itself would taste a bit more fresh (buttery and a bit crunchy kind texture). Same with baguettes. I got one and it’s very chewy and soft. It seems like it’s been sitting there for a long time. I remember loving their croissants when they are fresh. It’s too bad that our visit was disappointing this time.
NIce little bakery inside the HMart in MiraMesa. Their service is efficient and fast. Nice selection of pastries and savory pastries. So much to choose from. Their cakes are exceptional...light and flufffy and moist!
Ive been coming here for yrs. However I have since moved away. My ailing stepmother wanted some raisin pin wheels. I went to 2 other places she told me to go too but they didn't have anything she wanted. I decided to go here as I love the pastries here. They had what I was looking for. She enjoyed the pastries.
