Sign in to reviewI’ve been trusting Patrick with my Japanese thermal and keratin treatment for over 15 years now since the Groupon days (!!!) and without his expertise, my hair would be a nightmare to manage! He knows exactly what my hair needs, and is very attentive. He doesn’t just apply, turn on the timer and then wash it off. He carefully checks your hair strand to make sure it doesn’t damage your hair. I’m always impressed by how smooth and healthy it looks and feels after every session. Recently, I had the chance to try the collagen treatment, and I’m so happy with the results! My hair has never felt softer, and the ends are incredibly smooth. What really stands out is that my husband commented that he noticed that there was no hair falling on the floor lol, all thanks to the collagen treatment! The last thermal I had with Patrick was almost six months ago, and had the collagen treatment almost 2 1/2 months ago. The collagen treatment complements the thermal treatment perfectly! I have not had to blow dry or use a flat iron after washing my hair and my hair dries straight, smooth and sleek, making it so much easier to manage day to day. I can’t recommend Patrick enough! If you’re looking for someone who not only listens to your hair needs but delivers incredible results every time, he’s your guy! Honestly very disappointed 😭. It looked good after leaving the salon but then after one night it turned super orange and patchy. For the price, I would expect much better. I’ll likely will need to spend 💸 on color correction. 😭 My hair is also the easiest kind according to hair dressers. I brought beautiful brown virgin hair and they ruined it.
I first walked into Patrick Evan Salon 20 years ago and Vania Avila has been doing my hair ever since. No joke, it is ALWAYS exceptional. No matter cut, color, or keratin, Vania is beyond talented. I've been able to build a deep and trusted relationship with her and now often simply say, "hey...it's a little off. what should we do?" Vania takes care of it, and I always look like a million bucks. Seriously. I get so many compliments about my hair. Extra bonus, the entire team at the salon is great and I can tell Patrick really cares about all the salon's clients. Side note: The salon is a wonderful space in downtown San Francisco. Don't be afraid about coming downtown. It's very convenient whether you are already in the city or need to come in from somewhere else in the Bay.
I have been going to Patrick for thermals for nearly 20 years. He is the best at what he does. My hair always looks and feels amazing after my treatments, and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience or outcome. Plus, Patrick is genuinely a great guy. The other services and people at the salon are wonderful too. My haircuts here have always been top notch. I honestly can’t recommend Patrick and the whole salon highly enough.
Tania has been doing my hair for years and I have never been disappointed. From consultation to finish her patient knowledgeable advice and gentle hands have made getting my hair done a great experience. I highly recommend Tania for all your hair wants and needs.
