Pearl Bay has officially reopened as of 4/23/2026 with a new menu and updated hours (9 a.m.–3 p.m. and 5 p.m.–9:30 p.m.). We arrived a little after 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, and by 10 a.m. the restaurant was completely full, with people lining up outside. To avoid the wait, it’s best to arrive before 10 a.m. We stopped by over the weekend and were impressed! The dim sum came out hot and delicious, and the staff were experienced, efficient, and kept everything well organized. Definitely worth checking out!

Still pretty good after the remodel. Great service including changing out our plates twice during dim sum which I did not expect. They constantly came over and took away plates. The items I thought very average include ham sui gok too much dough and not enough filling. Shrimp dumplings and Xiao mai and chang fun were ok. The chau siu puffs, malay sponge cake, and beef organs and offal were all excellent.

Recently remodeled but the space between tables appear to be less than it used to be, even with the extra space it took from neighbor store. I guess that means more table and higher profit for the owner, less space for customer. Price and quality of food stay pretty much the same.

After calling my number, the waitress told me “when I call your number, you answer.” This was the attitude that started out night. The food was ok and expected of a Chinese restaurant but the Peking duck looked sparse. I would order take out rather than dine there.

I've been going here for a number of years. Even before the pandemic. The food has been consistently good, with the exception of the height of the pandemic. On other platforms, this place isn't rated high however this place for dim sum is always packed. This says wonders about the other sites. Today's visit for dim sum was just like the other times. Place was packed and there was a wait of 20 mins. The service was okay and the food was good. Parking wasn't an issue as there were plenty. This is a go-to spot for dim sum for sure.
