The place is very clean and staff are nice. I chose the deep massage add-on to the 60-minute full body. They certainly do give a strong massage, mostly with forearm and lots of elbow. I found it painful throughout. I have had deep tissue massages before that were the good kind of pain as the therapist works through knots. But this just hurt and didn’t seem knowledgable of the human body or muscle placements. Ultimately, I ended up bruised and more sore than when I went in. I do take accountability that I didn’t continue asking for her to ease up on the approach. She did ask at the beginning if it was okay and I said to take it down a notch, I don’t think she really did, but I also didn’t say again.
I've been coming here for several years now. They recently remodeled the interior which was a nice improvement. The spa's interior is clean and quiet with a few rooms having heating pads for the beds, which I love as I hate being cold during a massage. I prefer deep tissue massages, but tried swedish-style, which is calming after a stressful week. They offer hot stones which I've heard helps with blood flow. The masseuses are very professional and take good direction when I have specific sore areas to focus on. I started with 60 mins but increased to 90 mins recently as that allows me to really calm my mind. The dry sauna in the back is a great way to warm up and relax prior to your massage. Looks like they have a steam sauna too though I've never tried it. The sauna and showers are very clean and well maintained.
I had a really bad massage experience at this place. The massage therapists are not professional or even licensed. Do not go here.
A little rough around the edges, but overall decent and friendly service. Is it the best massage I’ve ever had? No, but it does the job on a rainy day.
