The menu highlights flavors that bring together familiar cafe favorites and distinctive combinations, including salted coffee, milk tea with boba, cold foam coffee, and creative matcha drinks. Coffee is a standout in customer comments. Reviewers recommend the iced coffees and describe the coffee as strong, with salted cold foam and ube cold foam among the favorites. One customer praised the salted coffee for combining bold Vietnamese coffee with smooth, slightly salty cream, creating a balance of richness and sweetness. Guests can also ask for less sweetness, as one reviewer did, and another describes choosing brown sugar milk tea with boba at 50% sugar and 75% ice. These details make it easier to picture the drinks and tailor an order to personal preferences.
For matcha fans, customer favorites include banana matcha and mango sticky matcha. One reviewer especially liked the banana matcha’s balance of matcha and banana, while the mango sticky matcha offers another distinctive option for anyone interested in fruit-forward flavors. Boba is part of the cafe’s appeal too: a customer visiting with her daughters after a trip to IKEA chose brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls. That family visit suggests the shop can suit a casual outing with kids as well as a solo stop for coffee or an afternoon drink. The reviews point to a varied drink selection, rather than one signature order that everyone needs to choose.
Phin Caphe & Boba is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday, at its SE Division Street location. A reviewer has noted that the shop previously closed earlier than the posted business time, so checking current hours before making a special trip may be worthwhile. Another review mentions that the business also has a Beaverton branch, though this listing is for the Portland cafe. Weekend midday visits can be busy, according to a customer, so planning around that rush may help. For people in Portland seeking Vietnamese coffee, boba, or an inventive matcha, Phin Caphe & Boba offers several specific drinks worth considering and a convenient daily window to stop in.

I always love finding bubble tea places. My daughters and I came from IKEA and I told them I wanted boba tea. Eldest daughter searched for one and the nice part is that they also have a branch in Beaverton. I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba at 50% sugar and 75% ice. Other daughter got the same thing but 100% sugar and 75% ice. So they both met our standard of sweetness. Lastly our third one was the Thai tea with boba. No complains for what we got. I’d recommend you try it for yourself.
I love Phin caphe, they used to close early before the business time. Their store normally closed at 6 PM, but they closed at 5 PM because there were no customers, majority of the citizens working 9-5 and they closed at 5 PM, how can we …
I recently tried the salted coffee at Phin Caphe & Boba and it was absolutely amazing! The flavor was perfectly balanced—rich, bold Vietnamese coffee combined with a smooth, slightly salty cream on top. The saltiness really enhances the sweetness and makes every sip incredibly satisfying. It’s unique, refreshing, and honestly one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. If you’re visiting, this is definitely a must-try. Highly recommend! ☕🔥
Recommend the ice coffees. Ube cold foam and the salted cold foam ice coffees were good. Coffee is strong! Stronger than cafe ume. Asked for less sweet. …
The banana matcha and mango sticky matcha were soooo good!! The banana one was perfect balance of matcha and banana. I think about it everyday😭 Definitely busy midday on a weekend so plan accordingly!
