For diners looking for pho, a generous noodle soup, or a casual meal with a broader menu, it offers a straightforward place to settle in and eat. Customer reviews describe the food as freshly prepared and flavorful, with several guests returning for after-work meals. The restaurant has a 4.3-star rating from 645 reviews, giving local diners a useful snapshot of a well-visited neighborhood spot. As with any restaurant, individual experiences can differ, so recent reviews may help set expectations before a visit.

Pho is a central draw, especially for guests who value a carefully made broth, well-selected beef, and vegetables served together in a satisfying bowl. One customer calls the soup base fresh-made and the meal genuine, while another highlights the flavorful broth in a bowl of bun bo Hue, noting its slight sweetness and plentiful meat. These reviews point to options for diners who want more than one style of Vietnamese noodle soup. The menu also includes nam vang noodles, mentioned by a guest alongside other favorites. Whether stopping in for a warming bowl at lunch or choosing noodles for dinner, guests can find dishes that reviewers describe as fresh, tasty, and served promptly.

There are choices beyond soup, too. Hainan chicken with rice stands out in customer feedback for its tender, juicy chicken and how well it pairs with the rice. Another guest recommends the rare beef carpaccio, describing it as fresh and flavorful. Together, these mentions suggest a menu that can suit different appetites, from a light starter to a filling rice or noodle dish. Reviews also describe Pho 20 as no-frills, making it a practical option for people who are more focused on a satisfying meal than a formal dining setting. It may work for solo diners, coworkers meeting after the workday, or friends and family looking for a relaxed place to share Vietnamese food.

Pho 20 is open daily from 11:00 a.m. Its listed closing time is 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, which gives evening diners a little more time at the end of the week. Guests often praise quick food delivery and welcoming experiences, although reviews also include a report of rude service, so service impressions are not universal. The address is 234 N 10th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107. For anyone exploring Vietnamese restaurants in Philadelphia, Pho 20 is a convenient Chinatown choice to consider for pho, bun bo Hue, Hainan chicken, and other noodle and rice dishes. Pho 20 is one of our favorite spots, especially for after work. The food is always good, comes out fast, and the service feels welcoming. The owner is very nice, which makes the experience even better every time we visit. One of our favorite dishes here is the rare beef carpaccio. It is fresh, flavorful, and very enjoyable, definitely something we would recommend. Besides that, everything we have tried has been solid. The broken rice is delicious, the Pho is comforting and flavorful, the Bun Bo Hue is really good, and the vermicelli is also a great choice. It is the kind of place where you can order different dishes and still feel satisfied every time. Another big reason we love Pho 20 is the hours. They open until 10:30 PM on weekdays and 11:30 PM on weekends which is perfect for us because we usually go after work. It is not always easy to find a good Vietnamese spot open late, so this makes Pho 20 very convenient. Overall, Pho 20 is a great place for delicious Vietnamese food, quick service, and a comfortable after-work meal. Highly recommend!

VERY RUDE SERVICE! Screamed at me for asking for simple things such as a straw and napkins! Growled at me when I asked if they had dessert! I enjoy Pho and have been traveling the US to find the best place this experience was so heartbreaking and I hope no one else ever has to experience being treated like that.

I got the H9 Bun Bo Hue. It was so delicious and had a plenty of meat. The soup was flavorful and little sweet. The food came out quick. The prices were great too! Definitely coming here again.
