Phở 96 Vietnamese Restaurant is a Vietnamese restaurant in Denver, Colorado, at 2990 W Mississippi Ave, Denver, CO 80219. It’s a local option for a comforting bowl of pho, whether you’re stopping in for dinner after work, sharing a meal with family, or looking for a place that serves late on the weekend. The restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m.; it closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at midnight Friday and Saturday. With a 4.3-star rating from 1,011 reviews, Phở 96 has drawn many diners, including regulars who return for its broth and generous portions. Customer experiences are mixed, so the most useful picture is a practical one: people often praise the food, while some reviews mention service concerns.
A standout order in customer feedback is the large combination pho, served with rare beef, brisket, meatballs, and tendon. One diner described the broth as piping hot, rich, and slow-cooked, with enough flavor without tasting too salty. Another regular particularly praised the broth and generous serving size. Those details make Phở 96 worth considering for diners who want a substantial, warming bowl with several kinds of beef in one order. As with any restaurant, individual tastes differ, but the combination pho is a concrete choice for a first visit if you’re drawn to a full-bodied soup and a varied selection of toppings.
Reviews also mention coconut boba as a drink to try, alongside crab cheese wontons. Feedback on the wontons is not uniformly positive: one customer said theirs were burnt, so preparation may not be consistent on every visit. The range of comments is worth keeping in mind rather than treating any single review as the whole story. Some guests describe delicious food and good value; others report that service did not feel welcoming. If attentive service is especially important to your meal, recent reviews may help set expectations. For guests focused on a filling bowl of pho, the praise for the broth and portions is a recurring reason diners say they come back.
At Phở 96 Vietnamese Restaurant in Denver, the setting suits a casual meal when you want Vietnamese comfort food without planning a special occasion. Families and repeat customers appear in the feedback, while the late Friday and Saturday closing times may suit people looking for dinner later in the evening. The restaurant has a parking lot, though one reviewer found it cramped, so allow for that possibility when arriving by car. Whether you’re nearby in Denver or choosing a spot for a bowl of pho, check the current hours and consider the mixed service feedback alongside the strong mentions of broth, portion size, and value. That gives you a grounded way to decide if Phở 96 fits what you’re looking for.

This used to be my favorite pho place, haven’t been here for awhile and tbh I probably should’ve went somewhere else. The old lady serving us had nothing but attitude, the crab cheese wontons were burnt, and I definitely didn’t feel welcome here. There’s several other pho places to choose from, I would suggest trying a different one
I stopped by this pho restaurant for dinner around 6:15 PM after a long day at work, and it really hit the spot. I ordered a large combination pho with rare beef, brisket, meatballs, and tendon. The broth arrived piping hot and had a rich, slow-cooked flavor without being too salty. I added fresh bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and a squeeze of lime, which made the bowl even better. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender by the time I finished the meal. I also ordered fresh shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce, and they were fresh and a great starter. The staff checked on me once during the meal and refilled my water without me asking. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and comfortable, making it a nice place to relax over dinner. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm craving a good bowl of pho.
The place was good; my family and I are frequent customers, and we had never had any problems until a few days ago. I went to eat there with my niece, and the owner took our order. Everything was going fine until, a bit later, I asked him for a drink. He became very angry, slammed his hand on the table, and rudely asked me why I hadn't ordered it earlier along with my meal. In my opinion, there was absolutely no reason for him to frighten us like that; he didn't even apologize the only thing he did was refuse to serve us and simply ignore us. Terrible service, and very rude.
I love this place, they really have such an amazing broth. The customer service isn’t the best, but I don’t care. The owners are in the business of providing a great meal, and they do a great job of that. They’re open late on weekends and the portions are generous. I recommend their coconut boba
Delicious food. Great price. Parking lot is cramped but food is worth it.
