This place caught our attention as we were driving to a Walmart. We decided to give it a try the next day and glad we did. …
We tried this place on our cross-country road trip and we were blown away! Insanely authentic pho in Oklahoma City. The bun bo hue and the pho were both incredible and definitely a welcome taste of home.
Pho Cuong was amazing! The setup is a little different from your typical sit down restaurant. You get seated, water and menus are brought to your table, and then you head up to the front to place your order. Your food is served to you at your table, and once you’re finished, you go back up front to pay. Make sure you remember your table number for both ordering and paying! As for the pho, it was exactly what I was looking for. The broth was rich, beefy, and authentic; not overly sweet. I got a “large” bowl, and it was definitely enough to fill me up. The tendon was also extremely soft and not chewy at all, which was a huge plus. I recommend it. I just wish we had a spot like this back in Kansas City because I would go all the time. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving a good bowl of pho!
Firstly, the restaurant is extremely clean, which is the reason why I gave it 5 stars. The condiments on the table were much cleaner than those at most pho restaurants. Since I ate quickly, the waiter didn't come to ask if I was okay. Because I wanted to change a cup of water, there was something like dirty sauce in the cup.
Pretty authentic place. You have to order at the counter and they bring it to you. It is still good service but not sure why they dont take it one step further and wait on you. I had the curry it could have used some coconut milk but it was okay. My wifes dish was very spicy and she ate about half. My daughter liked the pho. It seems like its setup for americans with food. She also enjoyed the bobba tea
