April 2023: Stopped by for the chicken pho. They give you a little minced ginger to add to the soup. I thought it enhanced the flavor 👍. I would probably get the chicken pho again. August 2022: Came here for lunch and tried the pho. It was pretty good. I asked for the beef on the side so I could cook it to a medium rare state. Soup wasn't hot enough at the end. But that is my fault for ordering it on the side. The dry noodles were tasty too. One complaint was that the dish had a lot of noodles and not enough ingredients.

I love going to the Mission district in SF. Remembered when I would go down that way when a KFC still existed and Valencia St. was not yet known to be hipster. You went there to get your fixing for a super fat burrito and nothing else! Or you would pop your head in and wait in line at Mitchell's for some coconut or ube ice cream or sundae! Pho Day is a casual Vietnamese restaurant opened not too long ago. The imperial rolls were Amazing!!! Loved the crisp and crunch. The vermicelli w/ shrimp was a solid choice w/ good sized prawns. The pho was good and had a clean taste. Wished they would put more noodles and meat! I'm glad that the Mission/Bernal Heights now has another spot for Pho. You can get some Mitchell's ice cream for dessert right after your meal! Service was efficient. Parking is horrible!

Just an ok spot. Wasn’t bad but also wasn’t that good. Also, seemed expensive for pho in my opinion. FYI they serve no alcohol. I wanted to give this place a try because I’ve lived near this area for a while now and have seen this restaurant change a lot (used to be a French/Italian spot, then pizza, etc.). But I had to give it 3 stars because it’s not a place worth going back to. I’d rather try new spots for pho or go to places in SF that I know are good. The pot stickers were the only thing that was really good, but everything else, ehh? The five spice chicken was on the dry side. And the bun vermicelli bowl I ordered lacked a lot of flavor. I didn’t take a picture of the pho we ordered, but that too was just ok. Feel free to go here and give it a try, I just didn’t think it was that great.

This place is a must-try if you are in the neighborhood! The bun bo hue is amazing, easily one of the best in the city. The broth is very flavorful and the beef is tender. The vermicelli bowl is solid and you can't go wrong with that. Will be coming back soon.
