The restaurant has a 4.2-star rating from 548 reviews, reflecting a broad range of customer experiences. For a local meal centered on pho, Pho Ha Saigon is a well-known option to consider, whether you are returning to a longtime favorite or choosing a place to try in the neighborhood.

Pho is a natural starting point, with reviews mentioning beef ball and rare steak pho, as well as Pho #21. Spring rolls are another customer favorite mentioned in reviews, and shrimp summer rolls have also been ordered alongside pho. Broken rice dishes caught the attention of one guest considering the menu. These customer comments offer a useful sense of what people order, without suggesting that every dish or visit will be the same.

The feedback also speaks to the restaurant’s familiar, neighborhood character. Some customers say they have visited for many years, including one who remembers coming as a young child, and describe the people as nice. That kind of repeat-visit history can make Pho Ha Saigon appealing to pho fans seeking a dependable place for a casual meal, as well as families, longtime locals, and visitors exploring Vietnamese food in Philadelphia. Reviews are not uniformly positive: some customers have reported disappointing service or meal experiences. Reading recent feedback can help set expectations, as individual experiences may differ.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Pho Ha Saigon for many, many years — and for good reason. Their pho is absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced every single time. I’ve tried countless pho restaurants around the world, but none come close to the authentic taste and comforting quality of this one. The broth is aromatic and full of depth, the noodles are always fresh, and the meat is perfectly tender. You can feel the love and tradition in every bowl. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and consistent — it truly feels like coming home every time I visit. If you’re looking for the best pho you’ll ever have, this is the place.

Absolutely love this place! I've been going to this place since I was 4. Love the food and the people are sooooo nice. Love the spring rolls and #21 for the noodles!

I’ve been to this place before and usually enjoyed it, but today was really disappointing. I ordered a shrimp summer roll and a large Pho #21, and I found a dead fly in my pho. I barely ate it and completely lost my appetite. Even after showing them, they still charged me full price. At the very least, I shouldn’t have been charged for the pho. This was really upsetting and not what I expected from a place I used to trust. I’ve come here often whenever I crave pho. I truly hope they handle situations like this better in the future.

When I encounter crappy service at an Asian establishment , I’m never surprised. They don’t go above and beyond to accommodate, especially when it’s basically ran by a bunch of dudes that sit around and stare. Anyway, the food was mediocre Vietnamese cuisine. Basically, whatever you get here is what you can get anywhere at a Vietnamese joint in South Philly. It is what it is. Average.Plenty of seats and plenty of potholes to park your car.

Came here for Pho but almost didn’t get it as there were other options on the menu that looked delicious. The broke rice dishes were quite tempting but I ended up going with the beef ball and rare steak pho. The broth was very flavorful and …
