Sign in to reviewCame here to order 2 appetizers for take out. I asked to remove one item and the older man at the counter said its too late I already entered it. I hadn't even swiped my card and it was still on the tipping screen and nothing processed. Nice try trying to take advantage of customers!!! I told him if you cant figure out how to delete one item then to delete the entire order. All of a sudden he magically remembered how to do it. I know times are tough but no need to take advantage of costumers. If they love the food and service the ppl will come on their own. I will never return again. Yes I was still nice enough to tip bc I felt sorry he felt the need to desperately do such a thing. Go eat some where else! I recommend Noodle House on East 8th Street National City. Poor service is never worth the food.
I stopped by Pho Hiep and had a great experience. The service was friendly and efficient from the moment I walked in. I ordered the grilled beef and chicken, and both were flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly. I also tried the shrimp and pork spring rolls, which were fresh, light, and a perfect starter. Overall, this place was a solid spot with good food and great service. I’d definitely come back to try the other menu items!
Had a kids meatball pho. The broth was tasty and the meatballs were too. I ordered the vegertarian deep fried rolls and they were okay. Decent taste, mushy. This place is usually full. I like the artistic vibe in their decor with the paintings and the lighting. One of the servers with the dreads has pretty amazing hair. There is a big free parking lot right in front. This place is pretty good the only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because other places the dishes come garnished with more side items.
Yummy. PHO. and Bao sandwich for lunch today.. had to ask for the sandwich it's not on the menu ?
We ate here last Monday night almost 9:00pm. We were surprised that they are still open and that there are still a lot of people coming in. We were seated in less than 20 minutes. We got our order fast enough. The food portions are good but I can't say the same with the Coconut juice. Don't order it because 3/4th of the glass is ice and the rest in juice. Also, the glass they use is slim or narrow like an inverted triangle. The Thai tea is typical size you get when you get a Boba drink. Other than that I will still recommend the place for soup but ask how they serve the drinks to make sure you get your money's worth. $5 is pricey for a 1/4 glass of coconut juice with one small piece of coconut jelly. When I tried to ask about it the waiter just didn't know how to respond or didn't even offer to give me another fill especially because the glass is mostly ice. Have coconut juice with your ICE. Also, do not order the lean brisket it has no taste and it's dry. I usually order chicken but I thought I will try the brisket.
