Pho Laveen Vietnamese Cuisine is a Vietnamese restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, serving the South Phoenix community from 3424 W Southern Ave #180, Phoenix, AZ 85041. For diners looking for pho in Phoenix, this neighborhood spot is known especially for flavorful, fresh-tasting bowls of pho. Customer feedback describes the broth and overall meal as carefully prepared and satisfying, making it a place to consider for a comforting lunch or dinner close to home. The listing shows a 4.7-star rating from 1,006 reviews, offering visitors a substantial body of local feedback to explore alongside their own experience.

Pho is the standout choice in many customer reviews. Diners praise its rich flavor and fresh taste, and several describe it as one of the best pho options in the area. Reviews also mention pork chops and wings, giving guests alternatives when they want something other than soup; one diner found those dishes a little salty, so individual preferences may vary. Portions have been described as plentiful, and a first-time visitor noted that the food arrived in about 13 minutes after ordering. Together, these details make Pho Laveen a practical pick for a satisfying, casual meal.

The welcome is another part of the experience customers call out. Reviewers mention prompt, courteous service and describe the owner as especially nice and welcoming. That friendly attention can make a visit feel personal, whether you are stopping in for a quick meal or sharing dinner with someone. The restaurant itself is described as small, and it can get crowded quickly, so it may be better suited to a couple or a small group than to a large party. One reviewer specifically recommended it for a date night, while noting that space is limited.

Located on West Southern Avenue in Phoenix, Pho Laveen Vietnamese Cuisine is an option for nearby residents and anyone exploring Vietnamese food in South Phoenix. Its focused reputation for pho, approachable service, and relaxed neighborhood setting are useful points to keep in mind when choosing where to eat. Customers have also shared differing impressions of details such as music and seasoning, so the most reliable guide is the combination of the menu, the current dining conditions, and your own tastes. If you are deciding what to order, pho is the dish most consistently praised in the feedback.

The listed hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with Monday listed as closed. Because some reviewers have reported arriving when the restaurant appeared closed despite the posted hours, it is sensible to confirm current opening information before making a special trip. For a casual pho meal in Phoenix, a welcoming interaction, or a small-scale dinner in the Laveen area, Pho Laveen offers a locally reviewed choice with a clear signature: flavorful Vietnamese pho.

As a South Phoenix resident, I’ll admit I don’t always have high expectations when trying new restaurants nearby, but this place completely exceeded them. The pho was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and tasted genuinely authentic. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food, and every bite was amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was great too. My only small complaint is that I wish they offered fountain drinks, but honestly, that’s a minor detail compared to how good the food is. This was a great pho experience. 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family. I know a few people who love eating pho and we have been back twice since its first initial time.

You can instantly tell when a pho restaurant is truly authentic and not artificial, and Pho Laveen checks every box. We couldn’t find a single photo of pho made with egg noodles, so we wanted to share this to help others. Many places upcharge for substitutions for no real reason, so we were happy to see that wasn’t the case here. The brisket was some of the most tender we’ve ever had. We highly recommend Pho Laveen for anyone who truly loves authentic pho. 🍜

Pretty good overall! The pork chops and wings were slightly too salty for me, but the pho is one of the best around this area. I only take off one star because there have been two times when I visited the restaurant and it was closed (even though the hours were open).

1st time visiting Pho Laveen. Their service was prompt and courteous. The food took about 13 minutes from order to table top which is quite reasonable. Their choice of music could be better aligned with their culture and ambiance. The food was great tasting and plentiful. We will be back soon.
