Pho is a clear highlight in customer reports. Diners have mentioned chicken pho and beef pho, including beef pho identified as No. 38 on the menu. Reviews describe these bowls as flavorful and fresh, with generous portions and plenty of meat. One customer noted that the chicken was especially flavorful, while another described both orders as satisfying. The available feedback points to pho as a familiar starting place, while the reported variety of menu options leaves room for diners to explore beyond a single dish.

Other reviewers have called the restaurant clean and have shared positive experiences with attentive, patient service. Feedback about hospitality is mixed: some guests describe friendly and accommodating staff, while at least one review reports a colder interaction. That range of experiences is worth keeping in mind, rather than assuming every visit will feel the same. Overall, the comments offer a practical picture of a neighborhood restaurant where guests may find a comfortable setting and satisfying food, alongside service experiences that can differ.

Pho Palace can suit people meeting for a casual meal, guests in Northeast Philadelphia looking for pho, or anyone who wants a filling bowl of chicken or beef noodle soup. Customer reviews also mention ordering pho for delivery, so the dishes have been enjoyed away from the dining room as well. I’m happy to share that my experience turned out to be a positive one. The inside of the restaurant is adorable, with warm and inviting decor that immediately made me feel comfortable. Our server was patient and accommodating, which I really appreciated, and the menu offered a wide variety of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the deep fried shrimp wrapped in tofu appetizer, particularly if you’re one who loves seafood. I ordered the traditional beef pho with all the goods, including tendon and tripe. The portions were generous, and while it may not be the best pho I’ve ever had, it was still satisfying and enjoyable. Overall, I would rate it a four out of five.

Trying this place we were in the area. I did read someone reviews talking about “the waiter was in the bad mood” I think our waiter was the waiter that the person mentioned about. He did seems cold and not friendly.. didn’t see any warm welcome smile but he still did what he need to be done. Probably that his actual personality, as long as he didn’t being rude or nasty with the service I’m ok. The spring rolls usually came out super hot everytime we ate in every Vietnamese place, but in here came out warm. They might had this on hot box ready to go or quick refried them not sure, the taste was good. My husband had meatballs pho and I had pork banh mi. The soup was pretty good but I didn’t really like the banh mi that much.

We got the chicken pho and the #38 beef pho delivered and both were very good. The portions were very large (I'm not sure why some reviews on GrubHub said they were small, don't listen) and it was all fresh and tasty. Both pho orders had a lot of meat in them and the chicken was flavorful (which sometimes is hard to get when in broth). We also got the grilled pork rolls and they were good. We will come again.

Used to be a frequent customer. Never again. Soup was inside the bag, the bag was tied, this is clearly a restaurant problem. The person isooke with was very rude, blamed the driver, and kept saying she cant help/ and thats not her fault. …

This is a really nice Pho spot I’ve been to a few in the northeast area and this is one of the top spots I was reluctant at first due to multiple reviews about “bad service” but I experienced very good service. The waitress was very attentive, it was clean, and everyone was very nice. The food is very good and nourishing! The atmosphere is also nice as well.
