Pho is a central draw at Pho Saigon. Diners praise the broth for its flavor, and one Vietnamese customer described a bowl as especially tasty, with enough meat to make it a filling meal. Other guests have also enjoyed the noodles and broth, while opinions about the beef cuts, texture, and noodle portions vary. If you have a preference about the meat in your bowl, consider asking about available options when ordering. The menu includes different pho choices, including Pho Tai Sach, which a recent visitor enjoyed. These varied reports make it helpful to keep your own preferences in mind when choosing a bowl.
Pho Saigon’s menu also offers dishes beyond pho. Recent diners enjoyed Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio and Mien Ga Chat, giving groups a few different options to consider. Goi Cuon Tom Thit, or shrimp and pork summer rolls, received a more mixed response, with one reviewer finding the rice paper too thick. Another guest noted that the spring rolls they requested were fried in rice paper differently than expected. Since experiences and expectations can differ, asking staff about preparation may be useful if you have a particular style in mind. Reviews mention friendly service and, in some cases, very fast service, though individual visits may vary.
The setting may suit a quick lunch, a casual pho stop, or a meal with friends who want to choose from several Vietnamese dishes. A visitor reported plenty of available seating and parking outside during a recent lunch visit; availability can depend on when you arrive. Before visiting, check the current menu and prices directly, as one reviewer said the online prices did not match the bill. For diners exploring Vietnamese food in South Philadelphia, Pho Saigon offers a convenient address, daily opening hours, and a menu that includes pho, noodle dishes, and rolls. It’s worth considering whether the dishes and service fit what you’re looking for that day.

It was a fun experience, the service was extremely fast. It is priced high for very fatty cuts of beef. The noodles and broth are great!
I should have read reviews before going. The meat in the pho was poor cuts and so thick and chewy. I couldn’t eat it. Broth was good. Very small portions of noodles even though I ordered a large. …
As a Vietnamese person, this pho was very tasty, the broth was flavorful. (I got #64) , it came with a lot of meat, I couldn’t finish it . Service was friendly and I didn’t have a problem, however it they seemed to forgot to give us water however when we asked they eventually gave us it, no big deal. The drink I had , had lots of everything. Lots of ice, beans, jelly. When I was leaving, there was a cockroach crawling on the floor. Flies were flying around but we swatted them away.
Perfect for a good bite of pho. I think of pho as a hot salad, so delicious and so fresh. Unfortunately they fried the spring rolls that I asked for in rice paper. Also they need to update the prices on their menu on their Google business profile. I went to pay and the bill was maybe 25% more than I was expecting. Boo!
Came here recently for lunch—lots of available seating and parking outside. Overall the food was good—we enjoyed the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio, Pho Tai Sach and Mien Ga Chat! The Goi Cuon Tom Thit (summer rolls) was just alright—the rice paper was too thick and didn’t taste that good.
