Pho Vietnam is a Vietnamese restaurant listed in Lakewood, California, and a welcoming option for a bowl of pho, a quick lunch, or a relaxed meal with family. Customer feedback points to a menu centered on Vietnamese favorites, with pho in different sizes and choices such as rare steak and meatballs. For diners who enjoy a little heat, the spicy broth stands out: one longtime customer specifically calls it a favorite and says it helps set the restaurant apart. The menu also includes bánh mì, though experiences vary, so guests may want to focus on the dishes they are most excited to try.

Pho is a natural choice for a comforting meal, and the reviews mention both small and large bowls, making it easy to choose a portion that suits your appetite. Other items guests have ordered include spring rolls with grilled shrimp and crab cheese wontons. The reviews do not agree on every dish, which is useful context when deciding what to order; positive comments are especially enthusiastic about the pho and its spicy broth. If you are visiting with someone who prefers a different kind of meal, one review describes a Cajun restaurant connected to the pho offering, as well as oysters. That comment suggests there may be options beyond pho, but checking the current menu is the best way to confirm what is available.

The atmosphere sounds practical and comfortable rather than formal. Guests mention a clean dining space, plenty of seating, parking, and service that was able to understand specific requests. One large party of 14 reported that the staff handled separate checks without discrepancies, making the restaurant worth considering for a group meal. Another diner who was staying nearby ordered shortly before closing and found the food ready for pickup. These are individual experiences, but they paint a picture of a place suited to casual visits, family meals, and takeout when timing matters.

Pho Vietnam is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the supplied business hours. The listing shows a 4.4 rating from 691 reviews, offering local diners additional feedback to consider alongside their own preferences. Whether you are looking for a familiar bowl of rare-steak pho, curious about the spicy broth, or planning a meal with a larger party, Pho Vietnam offers a casual setting and several well-mentioned choices. For the most satisfying visit, review the current menu and hours before you go, especially if you have specific requests or are arriving close to closing time.

Husband got the large rare steak i got the small meatball noth with no onion, and the crab cheese wontons. I feel pity for all who say this is the best theyve had. The wontons flavor and texture reminded me of half baked cheese cake and it os most definitely imitation crab. Soy sauce at table was low sodium. Husband says his was noodles felt spongy and the meat a bit slimy in parts. My meatballs were okay is tast and texture like any other place ive tried. My noodles were spongy as well and was very bland they didnt even have the chili sauce on any table. They had weird techno dance music playing. 10 out 10 do not recommend.

I’ve been coming here years now and this is by far one of my favorite Phó spots. Phó Vietnam can go toe to toe with any of the Phó shops on South Federal. I’ve tried most of the menu items and they are all outstanding. I especially love their spicy broth - it really sets them apart.
