Sign in to reviewHuuuuge portions def order to share with the table. The shrimp cakes were delicious. Very crispy. The egg rolls had a nice soft meat filling. The bun bo hue was flavorful! Service was super fast and very friendly.
Been here several times and the food is good, however it’s cash only and closes at 8pm. So keep that in mind. Also there’s no phone reception, had to get their WiFi which I’m glad they provide. I got grilled pork vermicelli and they accommodated my request for more salad and less noodles since I’m trying to watch my carb intake. Delicious, finished the whole thing. Came with soup on the side although that was very salty, wish it were more clean. Portions are huge, my friend got pho and was only able to eat half. Clean restaurant, plenty of tables and parking.
Great place for some authentic pho. We visited family here and tried at this restaurant and had a great time here. The pho was great. Very tasty and they gave so much food at this restaurant. Compare to the places in San Jose, this place has almost 1/3 more food for the same price. Our family of 6 couldn’t finish all the 4 bowls of food we ordered. We were here on Saturday lunch and had to wait for a table to be cleaned so had to wait for a few minutes. Guests don’t have to wait for long before seating. Food comes out pretty quickly once you ordered. Right next door, they have the starbread which is also a must have as well once you’re done. It’s kind of like butter bread sticks that’s slightly sweet. Really good.
This location was Hard to find at 1st, when we put it on the GPS, ut had us go towards the back of the center. But thats not why this received a 4 star. Its a quaint and CLEAN place vs others we've seen. The restrooms were clean the environment was tandem simple. As usual when entering a pho café its always seat yourself, not a problem there. Recieved our menus and wanted to wash our hands before making a decision, as we always do. The order taker came quick and when I said give us a couple min to him it meant 10 min. Now, again pho place aren't supposed to be a 5 star restaurant as its natural setting is supposed to be laid back and at most, inviting, & clean. This place met all of that. The place was half full with individuals enjoying their meals around as you can tell alot of chatting and smiles around easily. We didnt know their size portions so we ordered 1 large for myself and 2 mediums, 1 for the wifey and 1 the kids splits. When the toppings arrived there was a bundlesome of bean sprouts galore (loved it +) then the bowls arrived somewhat reaching the size it simply advertises. Large bowl was fairly large as the medium was 1/4 shorter in height vs the large. After adding the sriracha, hoison, and dropping the usual lemons inside, I was ready to go. The taste was good, but the broth seemed a little light and not bold in flavors. It was fully balanced with meat to noodles. Although not bad, it still needed room for improvement. Now if there is any reviewers stating that the service was bland, then they should NEVER go to a pho Cafe. Pho places aren't a 5 star restaurant, nor is it meant to be. Its a casual place with you being served 1x and thats it, if you want more things you call for it. But, generally theres always 1 donk or 2 that expects more from a pho cafe. Although I think the price is overpriced nearly $20 for a Large bowl, and the taste was sublime. So if you're planning on visiting this place be sure to have CASH OR ZELLE. Otherwise an ATM is needed. So come visit try it out, it is worth a 1 x try. But if you feel the cost is too high, im confident there are others with bolder taste and lower prices that may suit your needs.
My experience is based on about 10 take-outs so far. It’s the best tasting Pho around 31 and Union City area for me. I have tried five other pho place and this is the best. The only issue I have is they only take cash. Otherwise, it would be five star for the service. Otherwise, the restaurant is a standard just like any other Vietnamese Pho place. Reasonably clean.
