This hole in the wall is a gem. I have grown increasingly skeptical of 2nd gen restaurants that serve vibes and mediocre food. Not so for Quoc Huong. This was the best bowl of pho I’ve had in awhile. I forgot to take a photo of the Banh mi sandwich (we got #6, with the various meats/pate) because I ate too fast, it was that good. Everything we ordered was excellent, from the Banh mi to the pho, the spring rolls, and even the freshly squeezed lemonade. The food feels like it was home cooked. I currently live in New York and have had some disappointing experiences with pho, and of course in NYC, a bowl of pho costs over $20. When my parents came here last year, they immediately texted me, “Incredible bowl of pho for under $10!” It has since gone up a bit in price because of inflation, but still very good quality for value. We also tried one of the famous pho spots in Atlanta (which has a Michelin recommendation)—and we concluded their pho broth isn’t as good as Quoc Huong’s. Also, the owner and staff are so kind and generous, and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. So happy to have found a hole in the wall like Quoc Huong.

This city has a lot of options for authentic Asian food, but I was so happy I picked this spot. After days of eating fried/unhealthy food in downtown Atlanta, it was so refreshing to eat clean, tasty and fresh food! We knew it was a good sign when the whole place was packed for lunch. Sorry I didnt take pictures, I gobbled up the food fast. I ordered charcoal shrimp with veggies and steamed rice, and for only $5 I had to try the tofu bahn mi. As for the shrimp and rice, the veggies were crisp and delicious while the shrimp was cooked and seasoned to perfection. What stood out most was the white rice. I usually prefer fried rice but this was the best white rice I ever had. I think they use sushi rice? But im not sure. 10/10! The bahn mi was a pleasant surprise when I pulled it out to see it was almost the same size as a subway footlong! Most places serve you tiny bahn mi sandwiches and I thought, for $5, it was surely going to be tiny. Nope! That was a whole other meal. The bread is baked fresh, veggies are pickled so they have flavor, and they do not skimp on the meat! (In my case, tofu) This was my favorite food in all of Atlanta. The city of Doraville is certainly the home to some hidden gems!

This is absolutely the best pho in ATL. The flavor is authentic and the broth is incredibly rich and savory. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. The spring rolls are handmade too. Don’t be fooled by the simple decor — in fact, …

Best Banh Mi! An authentic gem where the community speaks for itself You know you've found a great ethnic restaurant when you walk in and the crowd is overwhelmingly from that very culture. This place passes that test with flying colors — and one bite of their banh mi will tell you exactly why. The flavors are nothing short of extraordinary. Every element — the crispy baguette, the savory fillings, the bright pickled vegetables — comes together in a way that's genuinely memorable. This isn't just good for the price. It's just plain good, full stop. Where else can you get a huge, satisfying, flavor-packed sandwich for four dollars? The value here is almost absurd — this is a place you'll be telling your friends about. And the most you'll ever spend? Five bucks. Pro tip: The soups are next on my list. If the banh mi is any indication — and judging by the packed house of regulars — they're going to be just as incredible. Heads up: They're cash only on Sundays, but accept cards the rest of the week — so plan accordingly!
