R&B Tea - Fremont is a casual bubble tea store in Fremont, CA, located at 37120 Fremont Blvd Unit i, Fremont, CA 94536. Set along Fremont Boulevard, it works well for a quick drink stop, a light bite, or a relaxed meetup when you are already in the area. The shop has a neighborhood feel rather than a formal cafe mood: easy to drop into, simple to navigate once you know what you want, and convenient for people moving through central Fremont.

The drink menu is centered on boba tea and milk tea, with customer mentions of Taro Storm, peach milk tea, mango milk tea, and balanced sweetness when the order lands right. One detail people notice is the plastic can-style packaging used for some drinks, which gives the order a distinctive look compared with a standard sealed cup. If you like trying different milk tea flavors and toppings, this Fremont spot is a practical place to sample the R&B Tea style without leaving the city.

Beyond tea, reviews point to a few food options that make the visit more filling. Spam musubi has appeared on the online menu, and customers have also mentioned chicken pho, described in one recent review as comforting, with clear broth and tender chicken. Because menus and ordering screens can change, it is worth checking the in-store tablet or asking staff if you are visiting for a specific item. That small step can save time, especially if you are comparing online listings with what is available at the counter.

Location is one of the strengths of R&B Tea - Fremont. A reviewer who stopped during a bike ride noted that the shop is convenient from Fremont Boulevard, with free timed street parking, some rear parking, and bike parking nearby along Artist Walk. That makes it a sensible stop for cyclists, students, families, coworkers grabbing drinks, or anyone who wants a cold tea before continuing errands around Fremont, California.

Hours are generally afternoon to evening: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and closed on Tuesday. With a 3.8 rating from 56 reviews, the feedback is mixed but useful: many customers appreciate the solid tea, unique containers, and convenient setting, while some note ordering friction or flavor preferences. For a local bubble tea store in Fremont, R&B Tea offers a straightforward option for boba, milk tea, and casual comfort food when the timing and menu match your visit.

Ordering wasn’t easy. The online menu didn’t match the tablet in store. Spam musubi online is $5 but in store it’s $7.50. Online has brown sugar boba milk tea but in-store tablet didn’t have it. We ended up ordering online, after they said to order online. Ordering was painful but the food and drinks were great! Hopefully they can fix the ordering issues. My son got the huge drink!! It’s a great deal if you like the same drink, $8.50 and you can share it. Garlic fries and spam musubi were both great. Parking can be challenging, it’s 3 hours free.

The taste of the boba teas (Peach milk tea and mango milk tea) were not very good. I give a star for the packaging/container "can" that the boba teas were provided in since I have not seen those plastic containers at any other tea place, so kudos to R&B tea for the uniqueness. The taste of the peach milk tea with tapioca left something to be desired. I could taste any peach at all. It seemed that the boba tea I received was sugar milk. The mango milk tea was average and extremely similar to the peach milk tea.

Pretty solid tea. Got the Taro Storm, came in a nice can, tasted good and had a balanced amount of sugar. Often too many kids inside, usually rambling about some “senior support network”, although I believe that they’ve changed meetup locations as I haven’t seen them in a while.

I checked out R&B Tea - Fremont while on a bike ride along Fremont Blvd. The location is very convenient. There is free timed street parking as well as some parking in the rear of the storefront. There are also multiple locations along Artist Walk to park one’s bike, and the shop is only a short walk from nearby bus stops. The store was clean and bright, music was playing, and there was ample seating for people to sit down and enjoy their food and drinks. There were also some games available for people to play (cards, Jenga, Connect4, etc). I could imagine this place being a really fun spot to meet up with friends, get some boba and snacks, and chill. I used the self-service kiosk to order and pay. I ordered the spicy popcorn chicken (but with zero spiciness for me lol) and a Green Thai Tea. Both were excellent! The popcorn chicken was crisp and flavorful. I appreciated that it wasn’t mostly batter and that it wasn’t super oily or greasy. The Green Thai Tea was also very good—fresh and smooth. I only know a few places that offer this drink, so I’m glad to know there’s a place nearby to me that has it and that does it well. I had an opportunity to meet and talk with the owner, Allen, who is looking forward to the store’s Grand Opening. He was very friendly and kind, and he really knows his stuff about tea. I’m looking forward to coming back to R&B Tea - Fremont soon! Addendum: I revisited R&B recently several weeks after my first visit from which I wrote my review. I got the same drink. I’ll note that the boba’s texture is too soft for my preference and isn’t as chewy as I would like it. I hope this is something they’re working on while they’re still in the soft opening, because the quality of the drink itself is still good.

A hidden gem in Fremont getting even better R&B Tea Fremont has always been one of my favorite spots for drinks, but they just introduced Chicken Pho to the menu and WOW — it’s honestly way better than I expected. . Clear broth, tender chicken, and super comforting and it hits perfectly whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or warming up on a cold day. Paired with their Mango Tea, it’s the perfect combo. The shop is clean, bright, and always has a chill vibe. Staff is always friendly and quick, too. If you’re in Fremont and haven’t checked out the new Chicken Pho yet, definitely stop by R&B Tea. They’re leveling up their menu and it shows. Highly recommend!
