I stopped by Rico’s Cakes and Panaderia on the way to see my Dad in Pleasant Grove. I was pleasantly surprised by their pan dulce selection and prices. Janeth(?) was very friendly and patient with my abysmal Spanish when I asked about the banderilla—which used to be a favorite of my late mother. I walked out with entirely too much pan dulce but wanted to try a little bit of everything. The ones that really stood out for me were the polvorones, orejas, conchas, and empanadas.
First time here and I must say we love the Conchas. Will definitely come back. I recommend you try them out.
The small tres leches cake was so dry omg a waste of money . I’m so disappointed the cake was not rico whatsoever
