Route 66 Moving Company

These were the worst movers I have ever worked with, and I have moved 7 times since 2011. Do yourself a favor and book somebody else. Sean was very easy to work with in setting up the quote, and the price is reasonable. However, they do not offer full value protection, and the movers were very careless. We paid for full packing and they did not protect our belongings adequately. Multiple items were damaged and they completely destroyed our TV. They broke our bed frame because they did not want to take it apart. If it were only that it wouldn't have been a big deal. However it became pretty clear that these movers did not treat our belongings with proper care. Several items were in the truck with little to no protection. Sean offered $200 for the bed frame but the rest was covered by their standard $0.60 per lb, so in the end we received $400 for over 3k worth of damage. Avoid avoid avoid.

February 12, 2022, moving from Hayward to Fresno working with Route 66 Moving was a good experience overall. The process from start to end was well documented, informative, and handled in a timely and professional manner. Sean, the account manager was very helpful with setting up the move and explaining the logistics and prices. The movers, Georgii and his partner was awesome to work with. They called ahead on moving day to give an estimated time of arrival and even showed up a bit ahead of schedule. I thought I had good packing and spacial awareness skills until I saw them do their magic. Georgii and his partner was professional, very efficient, handled items with care, confirmed placement of items as needed, and was very friendly and always displayed a pleasant attitude (despite the physical/mental stress of a move). I would recommended Route 66 Moving services and would use them again without hesitation.

Looking for a safe and great service moving company!! Route 66 is Definitely the smoothest moving experience I’ve ever had, thinking about moving is always been a nightmare. I have used this company is the past two times I've ever needed help moving out and so far has been the easiest to schedule and work with the movers were efficient and professional had no issues with my advice in regards of how to care for my furniture!! Super great customer service since the moment you speak with someone on the phone to the moment all boxes arrive to their destination. Everything arrived to the destination intact and on a timely manner . I would highly recommend route 66 and will be using this company again i just loved their service !

This is the 3rd time I am using Route 66 Moving and my experience has been wonderful. We first used this company when my sister moved from San Diego to LA. Having used other companies in the past, my family loved how efficient and honest everyone we worked with was. I moved from Orange County to LA and again the move was professional and very time efficient. This time I'm moving to the Bay Area from LA and the service is great. We used their packing service to pack the kitchen and some of the heavier items and it saved a lot of time and avoided stress. They provide a flat rate each time even for a long distance move so you feel you are getting honest efficient work. The move was done with a lot of care and honesty. The truck will arrive in 1 day and I look forward to an easier process moving in thanks to Route 66. Andrii is great to work with!

Movers who are on time? YUP! This team is were professional, courteous and worked at a consistent and steady pace. There was no damage to my furniture or walls. I was initially concerned about working with a customer rep service out-of-state, but this movers were great. I've never highly recommended movers before. This company and team were tops. For the extra dollars I spent, the peace of mind was worth it. My daughter moved one month later and used a less expensive mover. They cancelled on her and two guys in a truck showed up four hours later. It was horrible. Route 66 - highly recommended.
