Rx Square Pharmacy

Love, love, love using Rx Square Pharmacy for my medications. They keep me on track with refill updates and the delivery option is absolutely a life saver with a busy work and volunteer schedule. Highly recommend anyone unhappy with current pharmacy to give them a try!

I was referred to this pharmacy via my doctor's office as many are. I recieved my prescriptions via mail in a timely fashion and what i thought initally was A1 service. (The prescriptions were well over $100). After i received my prescriptions one of the prescriptions needed to be refrigerated so i opened the mailing packing and placed it in my refrigerator with the prescription bottle unopened and still in tact. A week or so later I was hospitalized (not related to the prescriptions) regarding complications with my health. Since i was in the hospital i was unable to open or use the newly purchased prescriptions which sat at home for a couple of months. When i returned home and was feeling better i wanted to start the medication i purchaesd from Rx Square . This past weekend, on Saturday, i finally was back home and preparing to use my prescriptions i purchased from Rx Square. I was reading all the presrciption info on the warnings and how to use the prescriptions. I always read all the labels and warnings before using any medication. I began openibg my prescrptions, which were a total of 3. I opened the final prescription, which was the one i had refrigerated, and I noticed the seal was punctured with a whole in the top of the medication. This medical was a topical medication and the top of the bottle was covered with black and white hairs. I immediately placed it in a ziploc bag and placed it back in the fridge and made up my mind i would call the pharmacy the next business day. I called Monday which was the next business day, which is also today. So this morning I called and spoke to Mo, the office manager, and told her what had happened and how disgusted i was and if she could send a new bottle or refund me for this bottle. She immediately stated that it was past 30days and there was nothing she could do. She said nothing like this ever has happened. Frankly she sounded like she didnt believe me. But i am the only one with access to my refrigerator and home and i know no one could have opened the bottle nor did I because i wasnt at home. I had been hospitalized. She did not offer any apologies and did not offer any resolutions whatsoever. I offered to send photos but she declined. I requested a manager she said she was the manager, which is hard to believe because of the poor handling of my dispute. We mutually endeded the call. I called back a few minutes later because I forgot to get her name which she said is Mo. Also l, asked how much was the prescription i received opened and used she said $58.99 . Basically $60 bucks. She then said she could offer a $20 discount on my next precription which is due for refill now. And I was hoping she could have gave that prescription to me free as a courteousy of receiving a used presciption, which i thought would be fair. I am a very reasonable person but i refuse to be mistreated and continue to use a service that donsent reapect me as a patient and customer. I declined the discount and requested to cancel my prescriptions and contacted my doctor to send my prescriptions elsewhere. This was not only horrible customer service, but a major health concern as well when a pharmacy sends out used and broken seal medication bottles to their patients. It is also a major training issue among the workers at this pharmacy. I hope this post can also be a teachable moment to the pharmacy to work on implementing better business practices and better treatment of your patients/customers. Used to be great, you would get your order the next day. It’s not anymore, ever since I have to talk to the Dallas location instead of the San Antonio one it takes a couple of days to get the prescription. And I have to call them to remind them that I made the payment and to send my stuff.

My dermatologist turned me onto this pharmacy and it is great. They’ve been able to save me money on my prescription medications, they fill my prescription’s quickly and mail them to me. What great service. I highly recommend them.
