Safeway Pharmacy

Today we did our annual visit to our Safeway for Flu and Covid vaccines. We did have a little bit of a wait, but the service was wonderful and the pharmacist who did our shots was professional and superb at giving the injections. Apologies if not saying her name correctly, possibly Selena / Sarina? Thank you for the wonderful care today!

This has been my pharmacy for about 5 or 6 years now. Before that, getting my medications was a complete disaster, but since I've been at this pharmacy, everything has changed. It's so easy to get my medications here, and the customer service is also wonderful. Kelly is a super professional, very attentive, and kind woman. She works hard to resolve any problems so I can get my medications. Thanks to her, my life in this regard is much easier. Thank you, Safeway, for having an excellent pharmacy.

I really love this Safeway pharmacy. They treat their customers with care. They smile and ask about your day. There is almost never a line. The only time I have experienced a line is when I showed up right after the lunch break - which is to be expected. What I like the best is that the Safeway app has a place for your pharmacy health and you can refill your prescriptions or have refill requests sent to your doctor from the app.

This pharmacy is a joke. I have spent the entire day calling around to 15 different pharmacies trying to find a single one that has enough of this prescription in stock. This medication is currently backordered throughout all of the US. So I called and a lady told me they had enough of my medication in stock and it would be filled in 30 to 45 minutes. So I asked her to initiate a transfer through the Safeway system. I had it sent to this pharmacy even though it is 30 minutes away from my house. Anyway, I called an hour later because the prescription was no longer showing up on my medication list on the Safeway app, it had completely disappeared. Which didn’t seem right. I’m greeted by a different individual, a man with an Indian accent who tells me that they are seriously shorthanded and it will be a few hours to maybe get it filled today and I tried explaining what my previous conversation looked like and he said it doesn’t matter what I was told before. They are extremely busy and only have 2 people working. After arguing back and forth with him for a bit. He said he would put it on the priority list. Not five minutes later did he call back and then tell me that they don’t have enough of this prescription in stock. What a waste of my time and my day. I am at my wits end, trying to find a pharmacy and now my doctor has to call in an entirely new prescription because I wasted my ONLY transfer on this lying pharmacy. Go anywhere else!
