Safeway Pharmacy

This review is for the pharmacy staff working at this store on Monday June 22nd. I filled my daughters ear drops here. It was the first time I have used the pharmacy at this location. I called to confirm they received the order from the doctor and they stated they would send me a text when it was filled. Never got a text. Called back a few hours later and said they wouldn't call/text since it was my first time, even though the phone representative said I would be notified when it was ready. Not only did they lose my daughters prescription BUT they also sent us home with the wrong one. My daughter has been crying all day waiting for her ear drops and I get home with eye drops. I tried calling back to confirm and they were on lunch break. Finally got ahold of a manager and said they were sorry they sent the wrong thing home. I took more time off work to go pick up the right medication and all the staff were looking as if I was in the wrong? Not only that. Tried to say it was ok since it was eye drops they could have been used in the ear... It's the eye drops that can't be interchangable... How about you fill the right medications that were prescribed... I spoke to the pharmacy and they did not seem to care. I spoke to the manager and he seemed very apologetic and understood how bad it could have been. Bottom line.... Make sure you check before you drive back home and go put some random medications or your kids... Who knows what could have happened.

I have been going to this Safeway pharmacy for years. The pharmaceutical team is great and very friendly. Of course over the years there has been hiccups with staffing or miscommunication, but it all worked out in the end. There are a few regularly staffed pharmaceutical team members that always go above and beyond to provide amazing customer service and genuinely get to know their customers. Shout out to Ashley, Jason, and Cherry. You guys are the real GOAT's at this location specifically. You all are appreciated!

Ashley went above and beyond expectation helping my fiance maintain continuity of care and get her script filled even if it wasn't at safeway. Now that is the level of customer service this world should model itself after. Thank you Ashley
