Sign in to reviewA neat supermarket but ignorant, arogant, and useless staff. I had some problems with the payment equipment. I requested help. The light was blinking and the message said the help is on the way. A Safeway service woman was watching me but didn't move. Finally, I asked her for help. She got to the credit card reader, hit some button, and left. I still had the same problem while the woman watched me from a distance. Irritated, I called for help. She said Oo kaay and reluctantly showed me the touch spot on the card reader.
Came in today for a sandwich. 6 people behind the counter. Two Sushi preps so that's 4. I'm standing in front of the sandwich station, 10 minutes in and I still have yet to be helped. What are they doing. I'm a large man, I know they can see me get no help for 10+ minutes? Seriously!? You have 2 people helping out the hot food people ordering, one person just looking at the deli slicer cutting up deli, and one young man just walking back and forth from the kitchen to the front as if he were lost. It wasn't until 13.45 minutes later that the young girl, deli slicer girl actually got helped me out. She even asked someone in the kitchen, to help me but when she realized no one was coming she decided to help. Seriously Safeway, do better. But I guess that's what we pay for. Sandwiches under $10 means you get bad customer service.
Whose place is amazing lots of grab-and-go delicious food plenty of variety even its own to go coffee section. Everyone there was friendly as well.
Security is very unfriendly and thinks everybody is trying to do wrong by the store. I saw them stalking a customer because they had a backpack. They were genuinely just buying groceries. I also saw them count peoples groceries in the 15 or less line and they'll try to reprimand you. I heard them count it and say 'I'll let you go this time'. Poor girl she didn't even know and the security act like everyone is suspicious and she literally had 2 over the limit. Really? So uncomfortable!! Please calm down and stop acting like you own the store. Not every single customer is trying to do something bad! Security is much more friendly at south shore location. 2 stars for the ladies at the check out lines and the staff at the produce section. Very helpful and friendly!
