Sign in to reviewGreat service! Took my mom here for mother's day and we had Julie and KC. They were very sweet and our nails turned out amazing! Highly recommend this place.
I went to this nail salon because my usual one isn’t open on Sundays, but it wasn’t a good experience. I called ahead and confirmed I wanted builder gel on my natural nails ($60). The lady, Julie, clearly didn’t know how to apply builder gel. Builder gel isn’t regular gel polish, you’re supposed to build the apex and shape the nail properly, but she did none of that. I even told her to be gentle, but she filed my natural nails really hard and said it had to be that way for the gel to stay. The whole process felt rushed, like she just wanted to finish as fast as possible. Three hours after the appointment, three of my nails completely peeled off. I saw the owner’s response, and let’s clear a few things up. I never put my hand too deep or too far from the lamp. I’ve been doing builder gel for years and never had this issue anywhere else. The gel peeled off in full pieces, which clearly means it didn’t bond correctly. And yes, every tech has their own “style,” but there are still basic steps for applying builder gel properly, none of which were followed. About the extra $10 for cutting dead skin, Julie never said it would cost more. She didn’t say anything when I paid either. I only realized the total didn’t add up later and had to call to find out. That’s not a misunderstanding, that’s just bad communication. And honestly, arguing with your customer online is such a bad look. That’s not how you do business. Instead of trying to make things right: you have my phone number, my Zelle, plenty of ways to reconcile, you decided to hop online and argue over nails that didn’t even last a day. Some customers choose not to make a scene out of respect, but that doesn’t mean the service was fine. Also, you had the time to “check the camera and the voice” instead of just apologizing and fixing the issue? That says a lot. I paid $70 before tip for a natural color that didn’t even last a day. Honestly, I think a lot of their five-star reviews are because they give 10% off if you leave one. Definitely not worth it.
I had a great experience. My friend and I were seated right away, offered a drink, and greeted with a welcoming energy. The staff were very friendly and they did a great job doing a french tip pedicure!
My sister and I discovered Sahara Nails and Lashes when googling for a place near us. They had many great reviews so we thought we'd try it out. We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely the salon was. Everything was modern, well organized and clean. They have a huge selection of nail colors and very reasonable prices. Our nail techs Lynn and Amanda were friendly ladies that did amazing work! I haven't had a pedicure in a long time so my toenails were pretty ugly, but I left there feeling like a million bucks. We will definitely be coming back for our nail needs in the future!
Great service! Super cute nails I love them. There was like barely any wait and the ppl were very sweet. Great price and location. Would come back again
