Sign in to reviewGreat fast casual Vietnamese restaurant in Orange. If you don’t want to trek out to Westminster/garden grove, Saiga is a solid option. They have a bunch of classics on their menu including pho, vermicelli bowls, bahn mi, garlic noodles and rice dishes. I ended up getting the vermicelli bowl with the crispy pork belly ($1 extra) as well as the grilled pork bahn mi. The vermicelli bowl was so good and refreshing with the slippery rice noodles and fresh vegetables. I also loved that it came with an egg roll. The egg roll was perfectly crispy and had a good filling ratio. I’m glad the cashier convinced me to get the crispy pork belly. I typically don’t like pork belly because it’s too fatty but this one was perfect with the crunchy skin and juicy tender meat. The nuoc cham fish sauce balanced out the whole dish too. I had the blended coconut Thai tea smoothie to go with my vermicelli bowl and it was delicious - creamy, nutty, sweet and a good amount of Thai tea flavor. The coconut paired so nicely with the Thai tea! I saved my bahn mi and paradise swirl (blended coconut strawberry and pineapple smoothie) for later and it was still good even hours later. There was plenty of parking in the plaza on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant has a decent amount of seating inside. The workers were nice and professional. It was the perfect quick meal that I was looking for.
On the way back from Fullerton Amtrak Station, we found this Vietnamese restaurant nearby. Very clean and interesting setup for a Vietnamese restaurant. Seems like the food has been refined for quicker service and healthy tastes. You order and pay first at the counter and take a seat. They'll bring the food to you. Garlic noodle is not really Vietnamese but they did a good job with combining with pork belly or grilled pork. Vemiciline bowl has most things except to green onion. It can be better than green onion oil. But I think it's kind of healthy this way. Overall, I think this type of restaurant is a good concept. Quick, clean and tasty. Not authentic but good food for sure.
Saiga Eatery in Orange was honestly so good and affordable which I loved!!! Everything we tried was super flavorful, but the garlic noodles were easily the best seriously addictive. I love the Thai tea with coconut OMG 😝👌🏻 so good On top of that, the service was great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again really yummy and worth it.
Great VIetnamese place in Orange County, there aren't many good Asian eateries in Orange and this has to be one of my favourites. They serve bowls that are not too pricey and very filling. They also do catering. The servers are super nice and the vibes are super chill. I highly recommend the pork belly as it's house made and fantastic. I would definitely come back again if I had the chance. I heard they have a place in Irvine too.
We stopped by Saiga in Orange for a quick bite and they had fast service and delicious and healthy food. The pork belly was tender and not too oily and grilled pork was delicious too. We enjoyed the garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice and vermicelli. They also have a lunar new year promo right now and lunch specials. They also have frozen pho at Costco - we definitely want to try it sometime! Pro tip: Their pork belly and garlic noodles and cookie are all delicious!
