Saigon NV is listed on FindALoco in Malden, MA with address, phone, website, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Vietnamese Restaurant.
Saigon NV is a Vietnamese restaurant at 381 Main St in Malden, MA 02148, serving diners looking for familiar Vietnamese dishes, generous portions, and a relaxed meal in a casual neighborhood setting. Customer reviews describe it as a small, unassuming “hole in the wall,” with a menu that includes pho, vermicelli bowls, rice plates, summer rolls, and drinks. Its location on Main Street makes Saigon NV an option to consider when searching for Vietnamese food in Malden or nearby communities.
Pho is a popular choice among reviewers. One diner noted that even the smallest bowl was substantial enough to leave unfinished, making portion size a practical point to keep in mind when ordering. For a different combination of textures and flavors, the vermicelli bowl with grilled shrimp and pork was praised by a customer who came in craving noodles. Another review highlighted a fully loaded rice special plate, especially the bi cha. These firsthand experiences offer a useful picture of the variety guests have enjoyed, while individual preferences and orders may differ.
Summer rolls are another signature option mentioned in customer feedback. Guests can order them already prepared or choose a hands-on experience by rolling them at the table themselves. That interactive choice may suit friends or families who want more than a straightforward meal, while pre-made rolls offer a convenient alternative. Reviews also mention Vietnamese coffee, described by one customer as very sweet, so it may appeal most to those who enjoy a sweeter coffee. Together, these dishes and options give diners several ways to shape a meal, whether they are stopping in for pho, sharing rolls, or choosing a rice or noodle plate.
Saigon NV has a 4.3-star rating from 323 reviews, and the feedback reflects a range of experiences. Some customers appreciate the food and filling portions, while others mention longer waits during busy visits or concerns about particular orders and service. A review also raises a complaint about drinks arriving partially filled after a no-ice request; this is one customer's account, and experiences can vary. If visiting at a peak time, allowing extra time may be sensible. With its Malden address, broad selection of Vietnamese staples, and options for both ready-to-eat and hands-on summer rolls, Saigon NV may be a good fit for diners seeking a casual local restaurant and a substantial bowl or plate of Vietnamese food.

I ordered 3 drinks from uber eats and requested no ice. I wasn’t expecting the drinks to come half full and that’s extremely petty. I should have read the last 3 reviews on their cleanliness before ordering… Response to owner: that’s wrong because you can order a drink with no ice from Starbucks and they will fill it to the top and not charge extra. I put ice in the drink I bought from you guys after and even with ice it didn’t fill all the way up to the top. I just tried the sugar cane juice and this is definitely not sugar cane juice.. it’s added with something else. If you want good sugar cane juice go to pho bar express and you won’t be disappointed. I only come to Boston a few times out the year and wanted to try some place new. The Vietnamese coffee wasn’t bad though.
What a great whole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant serving up the freshest, authentic bowls/ plates of food! The summer rolls are my favorite and you also have the option to hand roll them yourself as part of a hands on experience or you can order pre-made ones too. Featuring different noodle, rice and meat dishes all fairly priced for the portion. The pho broth is flavorful not bland and can taste the umami simmered through. The flat noodles are my absolute favorite with crispy beef and veggies. The place is small and can feel busy and loud. Atomoshphere is OK, can feel warm but with the door open the breeze is nice.
We went on a pretty busy day so it took a minute to get seated and get our food orders in. The pho bowls were really big, we got the smallest size and still couldn't finish so it's good bang for your buck. Hand for scale in pic. The coffee is really sweet. Would come back.
Very important things need to be addressed. Usually they’re good, and I’ve tried to overlook some mistakes, but after this happening too many times, I feel like it needs to be said. …
I was craving vermicelli noodles and decided to give Saigon NV a try—and it definitely hit the spot. We ordered the rice special plate (fully loaded), which my boyfriend loved—especially the bi cha. I went with the vermicelli bowl with grilled shrimp and pork, and it totally satisfied the craving. I noticed a steady stream of locals coming in, even on a Monday night, which is always a good sign. It feels like a spot that’s been around for a while. Most people were ordering the pho or bún bò Huế, so I’m excited to come back and try those next. Solid first visit!
