At the same time, reviews also show that experiences can vary depending on the service requested and how expectations are discussed. Several customers mentioned concerns about rushed service, styling technique, or the final result not matching a photo or description. Before, my hair was long enough to cover my eye on all sides. I asked for a blowout taper fade on the sides and back and a quarter off the inch in the front. The blowout taper became be looking more like a mushroom with now blowout, there is only fade on the side burns and no where else, the sides length are around 1 inch different from each other making it look very uneven, the front was cut very short to the point you can see my full forehead on the left side but the right is touching my eyebrows, and the back is very flat and has no blowout. Even texture powder won’t make my hair look nice because it is really messed up. Now I am chopped until I fix it at a different haircut place. Definitely not the place to go if you wanted a “trendy” or a more complex cut. However it is expected because the haircut cost $22. However they don’t take card or Apple Pay. ONLY cash. I don’t do reviews at all but this just needs to be heard. Not recommended to get a haircut here unless wanting a cheap price.
Here is my experience: I walked in, they dragged me to sit down. I told them that I would like an estimate first for a hair cut in a V-shaped in the back. They said “$25.” They rushed the process and not only did they NOT give me a V-shape, my hair was completely frizzled near the bottom. I specifically told them many times I wanted a V-shape, in both Mandarin and English. I couldn’t even show them a picture I found prior because they took my glasses off and already cut my hair. Again, I am not someone who is very demanding, so I trusted their professionalism. After all, I told them that I wanted a V-shape many times. After 10 minutes, they were done, and they fluffed my hair and showed me in the mirror. At the time, although it wasn’t a V-shape like I had asked so many times before, it didn’t look too bad. So I paid and left. After walking for like 5 minutes, I saw my hair through a glass panel in nearby restaurant,, and it looks horrifying. Below is a picture of how it looked in the back. They cut away 8 inches of my hair and messed up the shape I originally had. give them two stars for their cheap cost and speedy service, nothing more. Customer service was bad, and they tried to sell me their hair products due to how “dry” my hair was. Here is the lesson: NEVER let anyone do anything to your hair before you show them a picture, no matter how pushy they are.
They have no idea how to blow dry medium length air. It was a total rip off she tried to send me home with half damp hair with frizz and tried to blame the health of my hair for her lack of skill. I don’t recommend to anyone can do a better job styling yourself
She asked me what haircut I wanted, I showed her a picture, she couldn't seem to see the picture I wanted and she didn't cut my hair right and I won't be going back.
Make sure ask for Conly, one of the finest barber lady there.
