Amazing food! Best Asian fusion food I've had in a while. They managed to keep the best of Japanese, French, and Californian flavors and techniques. Loved the Hokkiado milk bread and the proper French omelette was amazing! Definitely coming back when we come to OC for Disney!

We’re from Florida and we were struggling to find a great place to eat breakfast here in CA so I’m SO glad we found this gem. First of all, they have seats outside to wait for your table, then once your table is ready they take the time to call you, water is served, menu’s and serving ware all ready for you 🔝 (my husband and I thought this was very thoughtful), the servers are super attentive. Then the food! OMG this is THE best. So good, the plate decorated beautifully, the taste amazing and the coffee oh gosh. Definitely recommended and will be coming back again!! Keep up the good work guys so cool 🤌🏼

Brunch restaurants tend to be popular on the weekends, but most are just so so. My expectations were not high with this one. We waited over 30 minutes while watching people just sitting after finishing their meals a while ago. Our wait was worth it The server said their best items were the top 5 on the list. We ordered the streak and the fried chicken with sour dough pancakes. Wow they were beautiful and excellent.

A wonderful, unassuming space for a meal. The location and ambience is a bit utilitarian but the passion is definitely in the food. High quality ingredients and great flavors. My only critique is that they very likely could punch up the flavors even more but I still enjoyed every bite. City Plate is a great breakfast combo and I appreciated the Head Chef Kevin taking time to check on the tables when he had time. Will recommend to others.

Stopped by to try this place out with one my besties. We had such delicious food. The crispy chicken sandwich, brunch burrito, sourdough pancakes, Hokkaido milk bread cinnamon roll, and lattes were 12/10 for sure! The black molasses latte is a MUST! Will definitely be coming back again. Special thanks to Alex! You were a rockstar. Thanks for the great service!!
