Sign in to reviewSome of those cashiers are SUPLADA. They should learn the basics of a good customer relations: be friendly, be accommodating and answer queries of the buying customers in a helpful ways. These staff should also be reminded that we, the buying customers, are not there for disturbing their peace, their TSISMIS. etc. On the other hand, the male staff are the ones who are very approachable and friendly. Motto should be : "Service with a Smile"
I'm giving Seafood City a solid four stars. Let me start by saying—the moment you walk in, you're hit with a strong seafood smell. It's not the most pleasant at first, almost like something's gone bad, but after a few minutes, you realize it's just that raw, natural seafood scent you’d expect from a place selling live crab and fresh catch daily. The store itself is extremely well stocked, especially if you're looking for Asian groceries or specialty items you won’t find at your regular supermarket. The seafood section is impressive—they offer a wide variety of fresh options, including live crab and shellfish. However, the meat section didn’t look too great. The quality seemed a little off, but to be fair, I wasn’t expecting premium cuts here. What knocks it down to four stars for me is the customer service—or lack of it. Employees barely acknowledge you, and when they do speak, it’s so fast and mumbled that it’s hard to understand what they’re saying. It feels very rushed and impersonal. If you're coming strictly for the selection, this place delivers. But don’t expect warm greetings or help from the staff. Still, worth stopping by if you're looking to cook up something fresh and flavorful at home
It was literally my first impression and I loved it there! Soon as you walk in, there's Filipino street food and Jollibee greeting you immediately. Its not a huge store but when you take it all in there is some space being taken up in the best way possible. Everything looked and smelled so fresh. For it to be a seafood market it was delightfully clean in there! I went for crab legs but didn't find what I wanted but they also have an awesome meat department. Customer Service was top tier as well. Definitely called my mom on video to show her all the meats and seafood. She was excited over the phone. You won't regret a trip here at all. Just don't go hungry or at least grab a thigh before you start to shop.
This is a very good market that carries a variety of southeast asian products but mostly filipino ones. They mostly carry groceries including produce, meat, ingredients, and prepackaged food. The prices here seem affordable, especially the meat section. The store is also kept clean and doesn't have a strong odor. I'd come back again.
Quality has declined. Feels like management has changed. Large portion of the packaged products are very low quality, same as you would find in a 99 cent store. Fruit selection was limited and quality below par. They did not have simple regular whole milk. They only have lactose free. Best seafood used to be better but it's only average now and that's limited to Asian. The store did not have any cereals not a single kind.
