Sign in to reviewFantastic shabu-shabu experience from start to finish! Shabu Shabu Bar in Santa Ana is an absolute must for me when visiting Orange County. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is lively, clean, and modern, with a great counter setup that makes cooking your own meal fun and engaging. The broths are rich and flavorful (tons of great options), and the meats are sliced perfectly, fresh, tender, and high quality. The vegetable platter is generous and colorful, the sauces and toppings let you customize every bite, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared. The gyoza were crispy and delicious, and the rice paired perfectly with the meal. Service is friendly and attentive, even when the place is busy. They make sure you’re comfortable, explain the process if it’s your first time, and keep everything running smoothly. And the cherry on top, free ice cream at the end! Such a nice touch to finish an already great meal. Shabu Shabu Bar delivers every time. Highly recommend!
New favorite hot pot place! They even offer gluten free broth & sauces:) (broth options are miso or spicy miso). The GF ponzu sauce is a must. The staff was extremely helpful with walking us through the ordering process and what was safe for gluten free. Will be returning!
Favorite shabu place, and we keep coming back : ) Each plate comes in small, med, or large + fresh veggies + rice + ice cream at the end. Their sauces are great, music is good, and has super friendly service. Place is clean with easy parking.
The base broth is just water… we asked if it was water and they said it becomes broth when you add meat and veggies to it… so we ordered the miso and they just put miso in the water…. Never been to a shabu shabu place that doesn’t serve broth The mortar for the sesame seeds is just a smooth plastic dish… They offer tonkotsu broth and they spell it tonkatsu…
This place is great came in and was instantly greeted. Fun to crush your own sesame for their signature sauce. Drank some sake blue balls to be exact great way to wash your meal down. The customer service here is fantastic and the vibes are great. Highly recommend coming to eat here you won’t disappointed thank you
